Parker ruled out for next two games

Tony Parker will miss the San Antonio Spurs' next two games, at the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday and at the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, due to a right shin contusion.

Parker suffered the injury in the second half of Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Parker will be reevaluated when the team returns to San Antonio at which point his status for Saturday night's Spurs-Thunder game will be determined.

I'm guessing this was the result of that collision with Ryan Hollins. Hopefully this doesn't become a lingering problem.

Pop won't rush him back if it's anything more serious. I feel like we're a little better off @ PG this year to cover at least a few games w/o parker.

Looked like his knee more than his shin when it happened. He grabbed his knee after the play. Oh well. We can survive for 2 games without him. Unleash Patty!
