Problem with Turner as a Sun...
- Doesn't fix the need for a shooter
- Needs the ball in his hand to be effective
- Will be a very expensive 6th man

I like Turner but just don't see him fixing the Suns needs.

Yep all good reasons why Turner wouldnt be a good fit on this team and guys like Will Chandler and Tobias Harris would, not to mention either could be a go to scorer for streaches.

agreed, but these guys are their team's respective Bledsoe's....IE, we're not getting them.

Not really true. Take Chandler, the other Sf.s on the team are guys like Gallo (team building block/thought of as corner stone since traded from Knicks) and they drafted guys like Miller who was supposed to to develope into a scorer and Hamilton, with Chandler being very high paid and those two on the roster he could be expendable for the right price.

And as for Harris, I thought that Mo Harkless was thought of as the future starting Sf, so also may be available for bid.... the bids on them might be a lot, but may be possible. Bledso didnt have a guy on the roster who made him expendable, the issue was that he was going to ask for more money than they would pay a backup to Chris Paul.

A second-rounder in 2018, sure.

Tobias Harris is the player that I really want, he would be my first option working trades.
I see a lot of potential and upside in him, he can be a 20ppg in this league pretty soon. He is a complete player, good defender, great rebounder for his position, good 3p shooter, plays with passion and he has very good basketball IQ, very smart.
His cousin is Frye, I hope that can make something in our favour.

My offer:
Gerald Green + Ind's pick + Wiz's' pick + future first protected pick for T.Harris and some filler that Orlando do not want ( like Big Baby's contract for example) We have cap space to make this trade.

Of course, Gordon Hayward is a great all around player and would be amazing in our team,so he is my second option, but I think Utah will not allow him to go.

We just need a knockdown three pt shooter as a third guard to play any time either of Dragic, Bledsoe or Tucker sits. It would be nice if Goodwin could play this role, but unfortunately, he is shooting 9% from deep.

Report: Thaddeus Young Requests Trade From 76ers
Dec 19, 2013 4:46 PM EST

Thaddeus Young has requested a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Young and his agent, Jim Tanner, submitted a trade request to Sam Hinkie and the Sixers weeks ago, according to a source close to Young.

"Thad is ready to leave Philly," the source said. "He isn't with the whole tanking thing."

Young was excited about the possibility of being traded to the Houston Rockets in a deal for Omer Asik before talks broke apart.

That's an insane offer for a player who is just potential.

3 first round picks and Green is something you trade for a semi-star... Proven contributor.

I wouldn't call Tobias Harris a good 3 pt shooter. He is shooting 15% this year. Did you mean in comparison to Archie Goodwin?

I'm going to pretend you didn't just suggest three firsts for Tobias Harris. Good young player, but come on...

Dont forget that he also added that we would take on an undesirable contract like Big Babys!

I'd offer one of those first's for Harris (but not take on Big Baby)

His game would really mesh well with Dragic/Bledsoe/Plumlee

Tobias Harris, Wilson Chandler, Thad Young, Jeff Green etc. Why do we need them? Am I the only one who thinks that these guys aren't much better than the Morris twins?

Not to mention a lot more expensive. I think McD has his sights set a little higher.

i really like chandler, but i'm on the same page as you. the morris twins are playing great and getting better. why trade them? i love the team we have and unless an all-star type player becomes available i think we stick it out with the guys we have.
