Eric maynor has actually played in rhetorically western conference championship within the last couple of years something wall can only dream off. Don't piss off a point guard with genuine wizard knowledge of What it takes scheme wisto get through 82games plus playoffs. he has been there and no other point guard on roster has even whipped deep playoffs recently. Wizard wisdom is What takes u deep into playoffs and maynor has the experiences of What it took licked in his memory for wall. point guard scheme.. adjustments strategies used in second game versus sixth game..disguised 4th quarter game plans. not many pg. available with those experiences as a back up point guard. more importantly

I was wondering what type of response that post would get. That was pretty far out there even by WizD standards.

I took some formatting liberties in advance of the workshop, WizD. See if you like the way it reads, maybe tighten up and adjust the transitions and this is a winner. I like the e.e. cummings reference.

I guess WizD's did make me think of Antonio Daniels who won a NBA Finals in San Antonio and was a solid player in Seattle before signing with the Wizards. In his first couple of months, Daniels struggled, I believe Chucky Atkins was outplaying him. Maybe Maynor can show more later in the season like Daniels- although Daniels ceiling coming into the league was bigger than Maynor and was a better overall player both offensively and defensively than Maynor.

I loved Antonio Daniels. Dude was the energizer bunny, put his body on the line, and was the heart and soul of the team most nights. To even mention him in the same breath as DNP is heresy. :x

Maynor+Singleton for Novak works. Raps shave off a year in Novak's contract, while we get a good sharpshooter off the bench.

We also gain a roster spot to call up a guy like Curry as Ruz suggested.

While Grunfeld is napping, other GM's go to work. Curry signs with Memphis while we're stuck with Singleton and Maynor's DNP's. Thx Ernie.

I like mhd's trade idea. I think that Novak would be a good - 6-8 mpg guy or at end of games when you need a 3

Maynor: best +/- tonight, more assists per minute than Wall, and no TOs.

Would be nice to add a player that moves toward the basket. Would be even nicer to have and offense that instructs people to do that as part of the offense. Non of our wings or guard move toward the basket.

A quick player would be nice. Who else on this team is quick and can dribble other then Wall ?

They have Rick Adelman as their head coach. We have Randy Wittman

What was that two man game crap 22 ft from the baskets where Beal just ran back and forth trying to use a pick ? I mean that's fine for a play or two but I want to see more from an offense. Where was the driving to get their bigs in foul trouble ?

SA and last nights MIN offense seem to feature players always moving toward the basket. Pump fake then dribble drive. Angles. Leverage. Drive. Pass. And their defense was swarming. They jumped the lanes on our weak passing. And they have a tank in Pek down low. And they are long at SF and SG. Its not a bad team at all. Not top flight for a West team, but pretty structurally sound as a design. Specially with JJ off the bench. And players in the wings like Alexey Shved and Gorgui Dieng. Hell maybe even Shabbazz can do something for them eventually.

We looked ready for about 4 minutes at the start. They looked ready all game. That stinks of coaching to me.

I want a new coach. I want a new GM. Its time. We mom and popped this thing long enough. We got what we could with EG and Saunders. Now its time to go get the best out there. We should be able to attract better now. Let Don Newman take over. He knows the SA way. Time to move forward.
