That has always been my understanding as well. I think had I worded the question the opposite way CFan would have come up with the correct answer.

This league has taken on such a negative, annoying culture.

Did sly also receive a 1st rounder? What happened to the youth plan?

No 1sts. Thought it was a smart trade for me, so I took it. Makes me a bit older but I get some pretty concrete top value and give up a bit of risk, in my opinion. I don't have my first this year, which also helped.

Didn't realize Steph is only 3 years younger than Paul.

Seemed like sort of a lateral move to me. Not a big Ariza fan especially if Porter ever gets it going. Then again how many years remain in Wade's knees?

Didn't realize either team was looking to make a move.

From my point of view, the Ariza for Green part was to keep me competitive in steals this year so that I would remain in contention. Porter is not a threat this year, and after this year who knows where Ariza will be? Paul/Wade for Curry/Beal was forward looking.

No one ever realizes I'm looking to make a move because 90+% of the trade offers sent to me are pure crap which I don't even reply to. If anyone wants to make a move with me, they just have to get real.

The rule is that you are locked from all add/drops if you have an active player sitting on your IL. So, technically, you can store them the whole year but your roster freezes if you do so.

The Team is proud to anounce that we have reached an agrement that will bring in Carlos Boozer. Boozer fills the need left with the departure of David West this summer. Boozer is an experience veteran who will bring toughness to our front line. We can definitely use the rebounds he is sure to grab. We still expect our young bigs to produce in the future but Carlos will help as make our playoff push.

We will greatly miss Avery Bradley. We expect he will have many more nights like he did last night but as they say, you have to give something to get something.

Somehow I accidentally left Duncan on the bench a couple of days ago and played CJ Miiles instead. CJ responded to the surprise start with 10 3s and 34 points. Sometimes you just have to motivate your players.

Another big trade. I get younger and theman gets better. Hard to finally let go of Aldridge, but saw the chance to get 5 years younger with Wall.

Very excited to add another former #1 pick to complement Anthony Bennett ;)

The Team is very pleased to announce our acquisition of LaMarcus Aldridge and Wilson Chandler. We believe LaMarcus should be the NBA MVP this season. He puts up very impressive numbers. Wilson Chandler will help shore up our rotation. John Wall will definitely be missed but this deal we believe makes us a contender for this year and down the road.

We do get a little old with this deal but, Aldridge is only 28 and is in the prime of his career and Chandler is only 26. So we will have plenty of good years of production.

This move is in no way in indication of a lock of faith in Wall but we believe right now Aldridge is the better player. Our depth at point guard definitely helped make us more comfortable making this move.

I'm surprised no one wants to pass judgement on this trade.

The board is sorely lacking in smack talk since BWW and WB left. That surprises me becouse I hear Stick thinks JFrost is an idiot and JFrost was calling Stick a momma's boy. Don't even get me started on what OldNo7 had to say about Cfan.

That trade is a sham. It stinks. Your team stinks.

I'm having a sad season over here... trading that 1st in the middle of a rebuild was awesome. So, I'm stuck trying to compete with a super-young roster, and will be on the sidelines for this superdraft.

Liked that trade for theman. Neither are top-5 fantasy super-stud material, IMO. Aldridge is top-10. Wall is just outside of that, lacking some efficiency but younger. Tough call if I would have traded Wall straight-up for Aldridge. Makes it an easier decision with Chandler as a throw-in.
