I wish I was lucky enough to miss the first half

his neck got bent pretty bad too. Not sure what a "stinger" is but his neck bent the way TJ's did when horford mugged him
and all the kansas players standing around the same way TJ's teammates did

I didn't mean average or bad or anything like that. But by the hype I was expecting Vince Carter if not almost LBJ. He's above average, and going to be a star, but not a generational type player. Still would be first overall most years, but with Parker and Embiid looking to be ahead of him this year.

I don't understand the infatuation with Barnes. He's really not that good.
Why not just watch him play buddy, he's got much improved handle that he can use to face up iso (e.g. against OKC) and has been using his post game to exploit matchup.

I've watched him play since high-school. I was extremely pro-Barnes when he was coming out of high-school, and was even a proponent of the 'tank for Barnes' movement after he struggled his freshman season.
The fact of the matter is, is that he just hasn't been that good. That's just the way it is. Is there a chance he becomes a good NBA player? Of course there is, but he certainly isn't there yet, and I definitely wouldn't trade Jonas for him.

I don't know if he has the physical tools. He lacks size, and might get slaughtered by NBA SFs. On top of that he's not an explosive athlete. His shot is generally excellent, but he's starting to look more and more like he's not going to be any kind of world beating superstar. This draft is looking more and more average, especially if Lavine and Exum are out, like I've seen rumoured.
Parker and Embiid are legit though. They both are All-Stars at least, in the NBA.
Parker yeah seems to be, Embiid it's still to early to say - the potential is definitely there though.

I wouldn't say he played his tail off. Haven't seen a lot of effort.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

Here's the thing with Embiid though - he not only has the physical tools, but he's got the intelligence. There's no way a guy who just started playing basketball at 16 can be this advanced without having some semblance of intellect.
