Pierce for Anthony Bennett and Varejao?

I know the Cavs were interested in Pierce last off season and willing to give up a pick. I know the owners wants to make the playoffs. I wonder if the Cavs would still be interested in Pierce?

Considering that Bennett looks like one of the worst #1 picks in NBA history, and looks well on his way to bust status (albeit early), I'd have to say no. I don't think the Cavs would give up on Bennett this early either.

pierce expiring is one of the few decent assets we have. no need to waste it on anthony bennett. id rather get a late unprotected first
