“They had too many second chance points (21) and then obviously, you know, minus 24 in the three point shooting game is a lot, lot, lot to overcome. So, that was basically the story of the game.”

...on the Bobcats offense:

"There's two things that I'm comfortable with. One is our guys are organized offensively and two is that our purpose is very good. We get into sets with speed which is critical in this league. Our guys are doing a good job. There are games where we can screen better because of what we're fighting without lack of range shooters when defenses play the under."

"I was asked the other day is it hard to run offense without a superstar on the perimeter. It is but yet in Orlando we won 59 games two years in a row. We didn't have a superstar (on the perimeter). Now there we did it differently because we didn't play anybody (role players) that couldn't shoot threes. But it's the same emphasis (with Charlotte from Orlando)."

“We have our way to win, you know? We have our way to win. I like our team – I’ve said that from the beginning. I told the guys in there (locker room) that handling disappointment and coming back and playing well on Monday is part of being in the NBA – I don’t care how good you are.”

Lol. Im not even going to bother to look it up, but having Ryan Anderson with a prime Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis is pretty damn swell on the perimeter.

How the heck do you lose on Buzz Night?

Answer: get outscored 30-4 from the three point line.

You don't have to bother looking it up if you read the underlined (above) and re-quoted portion of what he said

"Now there we did it differently because we didn't play anybody (role players) that couldn't shoot threes."

*Correction* Answer: get outscored 30-6 from the three point line

...but you're absolutely correct. I don't know what kind of tricks Cho has up his sleeve to fix this issue before the trade deadline, but right about now this team's biggest & most glaring weakness is lack of perimeter shooters. If your best 3-point threats are a point guard that has a reputation for being a streaky & inefficient shooter, and a journeyman power forward that never attempted more than one 3-pointer a game until this season, then it's a matter that needs to be addressed

Bobcats' Big Al gets fun letter from Jazz' Kanter and a loss from old team

“Dear Big Al,

My Boy! I’m gonna pump fake you all night.

Jeremy (Evans) said he is gonna dunk on you.

Airport was closed but thank you for letting us land on your bed.

Biggie says you’re a (inside joke).

Love XOXOXO

Kemba doesn't.

OK hater. You must've missed when they played this year huh?

@ 'catch20two', You made a unknown mistake here. I've come to notice over the years that 'thruthefire' is one of the few here that holds sentimental value for D.J. Augustin. He took your comment the wrong way, thinking that you were taking a shot at Augustin rather than Kyrie Irving. Take it into account, I guess

I figured it was something else. Either he had Kemba on his mind that much or something. Well I wasn't tryna take a popshot at DJ. I just don't like Kyrie. That's where I was getting at. DJ outplaying Kyrie was one of my few high points of watching basketball last night. I'm over it tho. I actually found it funny.

McLemore would be perfect for this team. He would be doing much better with us and Kemba would have his ear and so would Al. He would be such a weapon. Zeller wasn't a bad pick but he was the wrong pick.

took my 10 year old nephew to the game. he was not leaving that team store w/out a ladycats calendar. haha. so i got him one. he spent the rest of the night trying to hide that thing, using his free shirt to cover it up. when we got in the car he asks to see the calendar and i was like "you cant see anything its dark". he says "ive got the glowsticks" so he opened it up, and i think he was a bit shocked as it was maybe a tad sluttier than i expected - and i know my ladycats. his eyes were giant. when i took him home today, my sister just laughed. glad i didnt get scolded for being the idiot uncle.

Oh great, the doppelganger has chimed in.

No, I knew he was taking a shot at Kyrie. You guys always take shots at point guards who are considered better than Kemba. It was just funny because Kemba has routinely struggled against Kyrie.
