The prediction comes to fruition. We beat the Miami Heat today but lost to the refs. I just hope that the new commissioner can actually do something about these refs, give them warnings, fine them for blatant stupidity like tonight. I doubt it though, you can't do anything in this league without a superstar.

You think the refs act like this against the will of the NBA?

Of course they don't, but I'm hoping for a change when David Stern leaves.

I also want to commend our group of guys for their effort tonight. And that last play coach Bud drew up was absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely. Who'dathunkit?

In a fair world, ESPN features this as their play of the game: the game-winning play. It was that clever.

Quoting myself because I want to end on the real point. I don't care if I'm accused of enjoying moral victories, we played like champions.

I hate when stupid lame teams like Miami get the win like this...Hawks are the better team, you take away Ray Allen and they ain't no Championship team. I really hope Hawks show them whats up and get better record.

watching ESPN you'd think that the Heat dominated. Not only did they only show Miami highlights but they also questioned our last play out of the timeout.

Didn't see the game. The whole getting married thing took precedent.

ESPN showed the replay. They showed the no call charge by LeBron and said Millsap got posterized...yeah right.

What I learned this year after my main team Jazz have been ostracized by the media (more than ever), is that the NBA and its meida outlets are full of crap and they always have. Back when Milsap got a Triple Double with Jazz(back when less common), no one even cared to put it in the highlights. Were in a system that focuses on fan favorites, and use their refs to control games to allow the teams with bigger market share to win....I didn't say better market, because Heat fans are a bunch of band wagoneers who probably didn't give a crap about Heat prior to Wade's draft.

So when you see a team on news, highlights etc. remember the media is only showing you want they want to show you. Only watch highlights from the teams sources. When Miami Heat beat Jazz, they didn't point out that our bench play Burks outscored LeBron 31 to 30, and they had the nerve to post that LeBron had the game high in points. Watching the highlights and news Burks name wasn't even mentioned.
