I don't think a team with Lin, Johnson,Anderson, Jones, Asik is a bottom 5 team.

Anyway if you look at from a business perspective the trade swap is a sunk cost. You cannot recover it no matter where we finish. It would just feel worse giving Atlanta a top pick, but we cannot operate a business with the mindset of giving Atlanta the worst pick possible.

I think Jones has potential, salary comes off the books for Asik/Lin after 2014-2015 and we're not burdened with Dwill's salary long-term.

It will happen either way, at least we can get rid of some of the dead weight.

I don't give a **** about gifting ATL picks. The fact of the matter is, they shouldn't have them in the first place.

Deron got hurt? I left the game with like 2 or so minutes left...I know he was hobbling a bit, but right after that he hit a 3. He get hurt in the final two minutes?

It can happen either way, but there is no real harm in waiting till the deadline (other than possible injuries) to see if the situation can be improved or if certain players can improve their trade value.

He's a smart guy. It's not a coincidence that Pacers became a relevant team with his arrival.

time to blow this pile of garbage up. I'm all for Asik, Lin, and Jones

Pierce is a large expiring, we dont need to send him to a contender. plenty teams would be itnerested at the deadline

Did anyone else watch the post game conference? Looks like Jason Kidd is blaming the players and the players retaliated and blamed Jason Kidd saying they have no identity on offense or defense

Yeah, I've been hearing that.

I have to side with the players on that one. Yeah, there's no excuse for playing as badly as they are, but at the same time, if you're going out there with no plan, and you're going out there without a system in place, and you're basically being asked to wing it and pretty much BE the coaches, then yeah, I can understand them being pissed, especially if KIdd is going to say they're not playing hard (effort hasn't been the issue imo...we just suck right now). Well, it's hard to look good if the coach doesn't give you any sort of organization and planning.
