Greg Roman

Post#1 » by radtech » Wed Dec 25, 2013 2:02 am

Where will Roman end up after the season is over? There will be many openings right after the season is over like in Washington, Minnesota, Detroit, Houston, Tampa Bay and maybe even Oakland, where will he land?

Washington has RGIII, which is a great start, not having to find an NFL ready qb.

Minnesota, has no quaterbacks, but AP will help any qb they pickup.

Detroit has Stafford, Megatron and a few other pieces.

Tampa Bay has an improving Glennon but he may not be able to run Roman's offense.

Oakland as usually is just a total mess. But close to home.

I'm not a huge fan of Roman. That offense really struggled for much of the season. He's always struck me as a guy who should be a coordinator and not a head coach.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I don't see how anyone watching the Niners' offense this year would think Roman is Head Coach material.

Same.....when you watch guys like Ted Ginn go elsewhere and be productive, it chaps my hide. Our quarterbacks struggle to throw for yards, so I don't think his offense is as diverse as I would like.

He's had to work with Kaepernick and Alex Smith, two of the worst QBs in the league

He completely turned Smith's career around and he's done his best with Kaepernick

Give him someone like Stafford and people's jaws would drop

He's done a real good job with Kaepernick. I could live with Roman coaching the Skins. I think he'd get the most out of RG3.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Washington is one of the teams he's been linked to, Minnesota being the other.

Of course, it seems like the Skins are reaching out to every hot OC right now (Gruden, Wisenhunt, Bevell, etc.)
