Tonight will be one of the very rare times I cheer for the Cavs to win since they are playing the Hawks. I want that #3 spot.

The Clippers are blah. Lillard will shoot CP3's eyes out as he try to play share the ball with Blake and DeAndre. Jamal Crawford is the Clippers only saving grace and I'm not even sure he's enough when LMA, Batum, and Matthews will be outplaying the rest of their roster. CP3 is the Clippers best scorer and he better start acting like it.

Interesting that you state this, because I am one that is very adamant about assist being a overrated stat in modern basketball, and especially at the point guard position

The Clippers are 3-0 this season when Chris Paul has score at least 30 points, but that's not really saying anything since he had double figure assist numbers in those games as well, but with him handing out that many helpers a night his teammates garner a tendency to stand around and/or wait for scoring opportunities from him, taking away their overall effectiveness when they are forced by a defense to play a game where they'll need somebody other than Paul to contribute. It's kind of complex to explain, but pass-first point guards aren't really the law of the land to win championships, and neither is scoring point guards even though that's exactly the characteristic of play for the ones that have won it over the past couple decades with superstar help at other positions of course. I say that to say this, the play of a point guard shouldn't be marginalized to just setting up teammates. If that was the case, then Ricky Rubio should be considered for MVP, or at least the best PG in the league

I got my money on Lillard. He's a assassin. One of my favorite players ever since I seen his License to Lillard series on Youtube last year.

This is a good game between the Cavs and Hawks going on. The refs aren't in the Hawks favor tho.

No lie! I never would've thought a Hawks-Cavaliers game could be so exciting without LeBron James & Joe Johnson. Jeff Teague & Kyrie Irving are going at it. However, Irving need to be called out for continuously shooting on three defenders when Atlanta send multiple defenders to get the ball out of his hands, make or miss. If I was a Cavaliers fan, I would be raging mad because he's missed quite a few, and made a few of them might I add

'Fat's PG Rankings' updates almost always seem to bring out the best in point guards around the league

harden has 26pts on two made field goals.

2-for-9 fg, 21-for-23 fts. ridiculous.

you are correct. it ties an NBA record for most pts scored with only 2 (or less) made field goals. charles barkley also had a 26pt game with only 2 made field goals.

nothing beats the corey maggette game where he scored 18pts with 0 field goals (and i think he did it in less than 20 minutes - might have been preseason).

Not watching the game, but NBA.com is reporting 27pts on two FGs and 22-25 free throws. Guess the record's his now.

That depends on if you think Rich Cho is smart enough to trade that Portland 1st rounder away or not
