How about Bledsoe, Dragic, Goodwin, Twins, Len, and every pick we own from the next 20 years unprotected?

That's what Mattya would consider a fair trade. Its funny because Love will leave and the only thing Minny will get is cap space instead of assets and picks

Minny fans are dreaming about Westbrook and Ibaka for Love and Rubio.

No deal unless OKC throws in Lamb and 2 first round picks

Our discussion about the 2 PG system popped up in Peltons chat (who I find to be a knowlegable guy):

"Chris (Philly)
I've been reading that dual PG lineups are pretty effective. Do you think that could possibly be the next step in the evolution of some teams?
Kevin Pelton (12:53 PM)
The success the Suns have experienced starting that kind of lineup may inspire some other teams. The trick is usually finding a way to defend bigger opponents, but that's a strength of Bledsoe's. So the success may not port as well without him. It's easier to deal with those kind of matchup issues against second units."

It seems that I m in the minority when it comes to this 2 PG issue, and I m willing to re-evaluate. (Although I still think that we would be in big trouble guarding a 6'6, 200+ pounds traditional SG)

I don't see Minny that interested in Len. The Morris twins, Okafor's expiring, and all our 2014 picks would be a high price for us, but would have to be tempting to Minny. It would still leave us with a good team. Frye would play behind Love. Green would get more burn at the 3, and Archie would pick up more minutes at the 2.

When has Bill Simmons ever been taken seriously? No chance you get love for that package.

Who could offer something better if Love doesnt want to resign there? Minny needs draft picks and/or players who are on a longer term contract, as they are not able to get marquee free agents.

Any team he would resign with.

Way too may fanboy trades here. No team, including the Suns is going to offer the equivalent of 5 or 6 number ones for him, especially because he can and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2015. Giving up this much would nearly destroy a franchise for years to come if Love were to walk away. Moreover, even if he commits and the Suns do not have a championship caliber roster around him, the team would be stuck with a great player and no way to meaningfully supplement the roster (look at the previous versions of the Cav’s roster - LeBron and “stuff”). Finally, the Suns end up in the endless cycle of tearing down and rebuilding, which is something the Suns have said they do not want to do. The Knicks are a prime example of what can go wrong – deconstruct a terrible roster and get some no-name players, who can actually play, get some cap space to sign a “superstar in Stoudemire” give up a roster full of competent players and draft choices for another superstar in Mello and then use tricks to clear additional salary to sign Chandler. Right now they are a mess with no first round pick and little hope to get better in the next couple of years. This is precisely why neither the Suns nor any other team will gut itself of young players and draft choices for Love.

Everyone with common sense should be aware that Love ALONE will determine where he plays after his contract runs in 2015. He will become a free agent even if he wants to stay in Minnesota (or any other team he might be traded to) because the CBA makes it more advantageous to go that route for a max- level player on his second post-rookie deal. Dwight Howard recognized this and would not sign an extension in part, because the most he could get was an additional 3 years on an extension and as a free agent he could get at least 4 and maybe 5 years of guaranteed income this reason. Love will take his time and will evaluate all of his options, but it is almost certain he will become an unrestricted free agent even if he wants to stay in Minnesota because it makes financial sense for him to do so. For that reason alone T-Wolves fans will not get anywhere near what they think they should get for Love in a trade and no team including and especially the Suns will give the T-Wolves the keys to its asset vault for him.

I told you I was not a believer when first met this idea, but it's working perfectly, and it's getting only better. Indeed, Bledsoe's lenght and strenght is what allows us to get away with it on D. If/when we make the playoffs, we'll see what happens under real pressure, but I am a believer. Bledsoe is a keeper even at the max, and Goran should have untouchable status as well and a nice contract waiting for him after next season.

Some of the picks will be traded no matter what. The lineup is already 8-9 deep and that's not including Len. It's pretty unrealistic to think we'll be drafting 5-6 first rounders over two years. Even if a guy goes to Europe and the D-League we're adding 3-4 rookies to a 9-deep rotation? McD has stated that won't happen.

As we all know drafts are a crap shoot but next years draft is getting alot of hype. This is great for us because all of our picks have greater value than in an average year; so if we can leverage that to get a quality front court guy now im 100% on board. Is Love the only name currently being discussed or have other names been floated?

Not quick and mobile enough for what we are trying to build. Not to mention he isnt a very gifted scorer, and would clog up the mid, so there would be lot less space for drives for Bledsoe and Dragic.
I d rather pass on him.

Another player I would trade everything including the kitchen sink would be Anthony Davis.

I would be willing to absorb every single bad contract Pelicans have to have Davis on this team!

You mean you're sad? GS fans have offered significantly more and are a easy destination for Love to resign with. So keep living in denial

 Just because fans offered more doesn't mean GM's are willing to trade that. I think these NBA2K trades are pretty unrealistic, and whatever offer the Wolves get will be significantly less than what anyone on here has posted.

Obviously, but just because you won't offer more than a couple late picks and mediocre assets doesn't mean we have to accept. We have heard rumors that have offered more than what you are offering.

Warriors fans offered Thompson, Barnes, and Lee for Love and Martin. The Cavs rumored package was the number 1 pick in the past draft, TT and Waiters. Both better offers than mid protected firsts.
