A loss this week not only helps Atlanta's draft position, but it keeps the Saints from winning the division. Hell yeah! I hate Carolina, too, but we can't have everything go our way.

I am a little worried that Atlanta will win after throwing away the game against SF. And it is Tony's last game... :noway:

Two weeks ago my Lions were picking 25th in the draft. If they lose at Minnesota--and I think they will--they could wind up picking 9th.

I can't be the only person rooting for Arizona to get in and New Orleans to miss, right? Nothing against the Saints but I think the Cardinals make for such a fantastic Cinderella story.

I like San Diego to get the final AFC Wild Card.

Pretty sure teams would rather face the Saints who could be on the road the whole playoffs than play a really hot Cards team.

So no, I wont be rooting for Arizona.

No you're not the only person. I hate the Saints, they're a bunch of scumbags masquerading as some type of... well Saints i guess.

Rest Assured you're not. After the disastrous season the Falcons have had nothing would be more satisfying than seeing the Saints also miss out on the playoffs.

Romo out, most likely.

Clay Matthews ruled out today, doesn't sound like Rodgers is going to play either for GB.

Can't imagine either team winning without those guys. No way in hell either wins a playoff game with those defenses anyways.

You're a Dolphins fan and don't hate the Pats or Jets more than you do the Saints, Falcons or Bills.

It still blows my mind that Uncle Jerry and Garrett were saying that he wasn't being 100% ruled out for most of the week.

Were they seriously going to jeopardize their franchise QB's career over one game and a (more than likely) first round playoff exit? I wouldn't call it dumb, more than it would have been irresponsible.

Well Romo really wanted to play, and he lead two scoring drives to win the game after it happened last week. But yeah it would have been reckless to have him out there. It all depends what exactly the further risk would have been at that point though. Because sometimes herniated disks aren't that severe and can actually go back to relatively normal after not too long. When it was clear it was impeding the motor nerve they made the decision to shut him down and do the surgery.

His performance last week is still one of the most amazing things i've seen considering the circumstances (both with how severe his injury ended up being and with what was on the line). The guy is criminally underappreciated because of the Star on his helmet. Theres about 24 other franchises where if he'd done what hes done for his career he'd be without a doubt one of the best to ever play for them. But with the Cowboys expectations are raised. Some of the mistakes have been his, some of the mistakes are his teammates letting the team down, unfortunately for him it all falls on the QB in Dallas. Same reason no one outside of Cowboys fans remember Danny White.
If they can get the DLine fixed in this upcoming draft (and by all accounts this is one of the best drafts to do that in) next year his story will finally be different. Games are won on the lines, and they finally fixed their Oline this year so now its time for the DLine)
(It will also help if they don't play 19 dlineman and 40 defensive players overall due to injury next year)
