Weirdly, while his shooting ability appears to have regressed, he's actually improved on his point guard metrics; His turnover rate is down, and his assist rate is way up. Maybe he's a better point guard that we thought. His usage rate is way up too, so possibly what he needed was some trust and confidence placed in him by the coaching staff. He's also rebounding far more than he has before too, defensive numbers look solid, and he's getting to the line more than ever as well, so once he sorts the kinks out with his shot, he should be alright. He's still very young (could still be a Senior in college if he chose to), so he's still got time on his side.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.
