Birdman Injury

Post#1 » by goodboys lats » Thu Dec 26, 2013 12:06 am

Does anyone have any idea how bad it is? I was talking through a lot of the game and didn't see him get hurt.

I hope it's nothing serious, we will need him against SAC, I don't want to see UD and Shard together unless it's garbage time!
Please excuse my bad English, this is not my native language :)

stiff back, probably not that serious.

I join the Prayer about not seeing Haslem. I could live with less Battier and Lewis too.

Man, this is the 2nd time Birdman has taken a fall like that. He needs to becareful, he always tries to jump and swat things away. Those would be foul calls everytime anyway, not sure why he does it.

But for now... UD is back into the rotation it seems, good lord. Beas better be taking some of Lewis's minutes too... soon.

edit : oh Birdman has a stiff back... eh he will be fine.

I hope no news is good news. This guy has been tremendous for and after playing about 70 regular season games and 20 post season games for the Heat, he seems quite irreplaceable. After 70 games played for us, his WS/48 is at .202. In last year's playoffs, he was at .309 WS/48. His energy, defense, and finishing ability will be needed against just about any good team.

What this fan base needs is a bit of Joel Anthony. You will then remember how much you love Birdman! hahah

As much as it pains me to say, I'd rather see Joel than Haslem as well.

Please don't let it be serious... I cringe watching Haslem now which is the sad part.

Bird hasn't looked as good this year. Looks like he put on weight.
