3 - From what I hear, Bynum wants to end up with Heat or Clips. But he'd have to be released + Cavs want to trade him (see @WindhorstESPN)

That would be interesting.

Of course......

And once again we have another case of these players who played for Phil and with Kobe who act very very moody when they get traded from L.A.

I think dude simply is tired of playing for a garbage team. He's not motivated.

The laker years spoiled him. I'm not shocked he's trying to get to miami or LAC

Cavs have no reason to release him, and shouldn't. His contract is not guaranteed next season, so cut him in the offseason.

I guess if he gives up most of his remaining salary this year it may be worth it, but I guess he doesn't do that.

As a Heat fan, I'm not totally sold to Bynum due to his personal dilemmas or whatsoever, but honestly he would be a great fit here in south beach. but first and foremost, Is it gonna be possible for the Heat to get this guy?

The funniest thing is that the Lakers somehow traded this guy for Dwight Howard once upon a time.

According to shamsports he has no guarantee date the first year.

Andrew Bynum: Signed a two year, $24.79 million contract on July 19th 2013.

First year is $6 million guaranteed with no guarantee date. Second year is fully unguaranteed, becoming guaranteed if not waived on or before 10th July 2014.

Signed via cap room.

it's guaranteed on Jan 7th

Bynum playing 15 mpg off the bench for the Clippers would shore up a large part of their weaknesses.

Their GM could still pull a rabbit out of his hat by Jan 7th. Bynum is a nice trade chip but they only have 10 days to use it before the rest of his contract is guaranteed. Which teams need to cut $6 mil in salary? There are only about 5 teams over the lux tax this season.

Now look back at the LeBron's decision. It was damn smart.

Bynum's choice in hairstyle is definitely conduct detrimental to the league. :-P

Even if you don't like the game a smart person would still play at a decent level to get a lucrative contract because once you are done playing in the NBA you aren't going to receive millions of dollars to play basketball.

As for him being traded before getting cut, not sure what Cleveland would want.

Boston for Kris Humphries (+ Courtney Lee?)

Milwaukee for Butler + Pachulia.

Utah for Richard Jefferson.

Philly for Turner + Hawes.

Ric Bucher ✔ @RicBucher

If Cavs handle Bynum the same way they did Baron Davis, forget him going to Mia. Gilbert will pay him to sit over letting him join the Heat.

This isn't the first report of interest issues for Bynum. I remember reading that he had issues sometimes focusing in LA. He like LA though, and the life outside of basketball (like being in playboy mansion pics and whatnot). I knew that Cleveland thing was going to be bad. A guy who says sign me even with the risk of my injuries and I'm not giving you a chance to examine me just screams dedication, right?

I could definitely see that. ESPN's Brian Windhorst said something kinda similar:

Besides that last trade (which is WAY off), these are closer to his current trade value than what's being posted on the Trade Board right now.

Remember, Kobe doesn't make his teammates better.... He had a stacked team like the Heat now...

Odom, Bynum and Gasol without him have been so great, right?
