Yup, very good article.

I don't really hate or even dislike Jennings. I'm used to players taking shots at their former teams and I'm mostly numb to it all. I do think he's gone overboard and I'd love to just ask him, "Dude. What are you even doing right now? Why?" but he's always been a different kind of guy.

But I don't feel harsh words or boos are needed, even if that's what he'll get. His punishment is playing for a cellar dwelling team in Minnesota and having a league worst QB throwing him the ball, instead of playing for a contender, making more per year if reports are accurate and catching balls from the league's best. He's already serving out enough of a punishment.

QFT

Every time he makes a comment about Green Bay he's really just making himself seem more and more like a jealous ex.

He IS the jealous, and slightly crazy ( "You brainwashed me!"), ex.

Bumping this for Jason's recent article on Matt Flynn. I think he hits the nail on the head and it's written very well.

Wilde had a great year this year covering the Packers. He knows how to handle interviewing Rodgers better than anyone and he had a couple really nice pieces...

I hope TT and Flynn can work it out he stays. He can be the Zeke Bratkowski to Rodger's Bart Starr. And pay Tolzein a regular roster salary to be on practice squad as 3rd QB.

Pretty sure Tolzien can't be on the practice squad since he has played and started for us.

I still have a feeling that Flynn is going to look for a job elsewhere. He'll be hard pressed to find a starting job (though, I would argue that he is better than some of the QBs that have started this season). But, he could land a job with a team he'd be more likely to see playing time with - a team with a shaky or injury-prone starter.

I think Tolzien is a much better bet to be back and could develop into a very solid backup option with a year of study and development under the QB brain trust.

I agree. When Flynn says he has some soul searching to do I think he's weighing staying where he's not only comfortable but much appreciated or taking yet another chance somewhere else
