Only possible if the Cavs release him...

Thoughts?

Andrew Bynum

Looks like Cleveland will either trade him or waive him before his contract becomes guaranteed. Since his contract looks pretty bad I believe it will be hard to trade him when he looks done. Now here's were we come in why not take a chance if he is waved? He surely won't get much from anyone else and he'll have the best chance to win another ring here. He doesn't need to play much either 15 minutes a night split between him, bird and maybe oden. Now we someone to play center at all times and still getting sufficient rest. What do you guys think?

To put it in context if they wave him they only owe him 6 mil otherwise it will be 2 years at 12 million a year. I don't think anyone will want that contract but if we swoop in and take him for 1 million for the rest of the seaso ? Very possible.

i say if we have a chance do it. he is a cancer but the benefits would be huge. basically hibbert would crap himself in the pants. multiple defenders to throw at hip. bynum, bosh, andersen, oden ...

About Bynum suspension, league source tells Yahoo: "He doesn't want to play basketball anymore. He never liked it that much in first place."

Here's the thing, I think he is a clown and the i remember him giving Beas a pretty bad flagrant when he was in Minni but he could be useful. I also did not like Lebron James prior to his heat stint, just now I dislike him less, same will be with Bynum if he does something useful ( contain Roy)

thats why i sad andersen and bosh i doubt hibbert would feel comfortable playing against so many versitale players. bynum and oden would push him and play bully while andersen and bosh would play on lenght. plus he would have to defend because he plays heavy minutes in the playoffs. and now the verticality would disapear in the most part.

YOU are making too much sense...BUT...are you aware of who our coach is? he'd probably STILL play shane on west, etc.

I guess for the vet minimum he couldn't really hurt us, but not sure how "useful" he could be, unlike Oden he was never a big defensive factor, he's just a huge guy that can score in the post but we don't really need that.

yeah but he doesnt have to much options neither. haslem ( dear lord ), lewis ( dear god ), anthony ( harry krishna ), so he is forced to play bosh at center wich leaves west on an tropical island. i agree

yeah wishes are one but reality is a total diferent think. Riley would never ever take Bynum. plus i dont think neither one of the big 3 would welcome him here . he is an elephant and i am not talking only about his ego.

This coach is NEVER forced to do anything, BYNUM is not mobile enough to play defense for this team, they don't care about his offense..my vote is NO...
