Only a complete idiot would come to a teams page and make such a comment.
Who knew, it was Bynum being the problem all along. Well, he hasn't played particularly well in the last couple games. This is why the Cavs contract for him was a true stroke of genius.
How was it a stroke of genius? Didn't the Cavs just pay him 10 million for little production this year? Unless I am understanding the contract incorrectly.
Yep, you're missing how the contract works. It doesnt become guaranteed until a little over a week from now. Basically a team can trade for him before his contract becomes guaranteed and it becomes an instant expiring. So, a team can trade out quite a bit of salary to match Bynum's potential contract, but then cut him right away and not have to pay any of it, which saves them both from having to pay the contract of whoever they trade, but also saves them from tax penalties.
I was kind of curious when a few guys mentioned a couple of days ago that they were ready for the experiment to be over. I dont think anyone saw what happened coming, but the outcome seems like it's been written on the wall for a few weeks now.
Props to Bynum for getting himself back in playing shape, but the guy just didnt have the heart to go out there every day with such severe pain.
It will be really interesting to see what we were are able to move his contract for.
