We need a star PF who can score inside consistently, Markeif tries as best he can but he is really better suited as a 6th man.
PF/SF is our weakest position right now.

We need a PF that can hit a jump shot and score inside consistently. Think Amare in his prime, LMA and maybe Kevin Love though I'm known very familiar with his inside game.

The theory that we have to have a 3pt shooter at PF is a stupid myth. If we have a guy who can hit a jumper it will space the floor just fine and we would have the luxury of dropping the ball to them in the post on occasion to do work inside and get the other team in foul trouble.

I really don't see the point to blame Frye for every single loss. Especially in a blowout where nobody showed up. It happens, we came out very flat. Moving on. No need to point fingers toward one guy. It's quite unfair.

Happy I only had to endure the first half of this game. How many more 2+ days-rest-before-a-game games do the Suns have to play this year? They're AWFUL with 2+ days rest.

its really frustrating to have all these b2bs and all these long days of rest at the same time. It just doesn't make sense

GSW is 13-3 when the starters are healthy.

5-1 since Igoudala came back from missing 12 straight games.

Well that's kind of our entire offense at the moment....shooting 3s and rushing the paint. We don't have an exceptional playmaker on the squad like Nash, Paul, Rondo, etc, so our offense isn't going to be super complex. It's worked out for us very, very well so far(weren't we like 5th in OffEff/ORTG?), but when you face a team like Golden State or San Antonio that can run you off the 3 point line and protect the paint, then that's kinda the end of all of our options.

We're definitely one or two pieces away from being a conference finalist, but that's okay; this is year 1 of the rebuilding project.

Warriors fan here. I may or may not be biased, but I think you're more than one piece away from being a conference finalist. Your offense is most of the way there, and with a mid-range shooter or two to occasionally depend on, you'll be fine. However, I'm of the opinion that to make it as far as the WCF, a team needs an above average (at the very least) interior defender to deter guys from simply driving to the hoop as a last resort when the offense breaks down.

Having watched 12 Phoenix games so far this year, you don't seem to have anyone able to do that consistently. Were I you, I'd try to pick up someone to fill that role, be it this year or next, and then try to make the next step from there. The impact of a guy like Bogut on my own team is a great example... even if he doesn't always get the block or make a play, players have to constantly consider the guy whenever they're slashing to the hoop, and that bit of hesitation makes it a hell of a lot easier for perimeter defenders (you look fairly well off there, btw) to force a turnover or bad shot.

We are hoping that Plumlee can eventually be that guy. If not, Len when he comes back.

Plumlee doesn't get much help though with Frye being his interior partner defensively in the paint.

Plumlee is putting up very similar stats as Bogut, and if one has been watching lets say twelve games or so of the Suns this season, one would see that. However, I don't think Plumlee gets away with all the shoving that Bogut is allowed to do, after screens and shots. Now if we just had that... :D

When our guys are clicking, I think we can hold our own against any team if things are fair on both ends. If we do make it to the playoffs, the real only good to great news for us, is very limited days off between games.

Nobody on this team sets screens like Bogut. He stops the people dead in their tracks.
