[Game 32] Pel's vs. Rox - Sat. 12/28/2013, 7pm

Didn't see one up yet, so I decided to make one. Why not? (It's my first, BTW. There's a monopoly on these on the Knicks forum.)

Rox:

PG - Lin/Brooks
SG - Harden/Garcia
C - Howard/Motiejunas
SF - Parsons
PF - TJones/Casspi

Pel's:

PG - Holiday/Roberts
SG - Gordon/Rivers
C - Davis/Smith
SF - Aminu/Evans
PF - Anderson

Apparently, AD23 is back. So TJones and Dwight will have their hands full. However, TJones did play with AD23 at Kentucky, so maybe he'll have the inside-track against him. Also, AD23 is back from injury, so he should be pretty rusty. I think this kid, by the way, is The Truth. Does the Rox have an answer for Ryan Anderson? It'll have to be Tjones and DMo, because Dwight can't defend the perimeter.

The real challenge for the Rox will be the Pel's backcourt. Jrue Holiday is a big, fast, athletic PG. I think he'll give Jeremy a run for his money. Not very hopeful about that matchup. Not very hopeful about the Harden-Gordon matchup either, come to think of it; but Harden should at least be able to outscore Gordon. But, as long as Dwight's clogging up the paint, Evans should be covered: he still can't shoot, and his game is entirely about slashing to the basket.

I honestly see this being a blowout win for HOU if they come out with any effort given all the circumstances affecting NO right now.

I see Parsons guarding Gordon. Have not watch NO but it looks like they have a crappy bench so this should be a win.

Howard perfect from the field...10 points 8 rebounds in the first quarter.

Solid first quarter.

I love these games where Dwight just seems to say "I got this, guys." :)

Man. We can't hit a 3. Turning it over, and lost a double digit lead.

Gotta say, the Rockets look really good from the outside.

With Westbrook down, the West feels wide open and Houston has gotta be right in the mix.

Wonder what Morey can/will get for Asik. An additional big who can play center and another shooter would round this roster out well.

Lin can't buy a bucket but moving the ball and playing great D on Jrue.

By looking at the box score.
Good to see T. Jones having another fantastic outting tonight.
Howard is beasting the boards.
Too bad Lin is struggling tho.
If he at least contribute from offensive end in the second half then it seems we'll be alright.

Haren is having a terrible game. Lin has done nothing offensively, Dwight has 8 TO's, and our bench is terrible. We aren't getting anything in transition either. The pace in this quarter has been SLOW...almost like we lack energy.
