On the other side of the ball, their PGs were constantly getting in the lane and causing havoc.
In my mind, that (and Kevin Love) were the difference.
We lost the game because we didn't stop them on defense.
They shot nearly 50%, outrebounded us and committed a very low
number of TOs. They scored like 120 pts. Our offense wasn't that bad.
We just never stopped them.
Wall did fine. 11-20/7 dimes.
Respectfully, our wings usually pull us through - they score and force TOs.
Ariza, Beal, Porter and Webster were 13 of 34, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal and 4 TOs. They usually pull us through and didn't get it done - or at least keep us close.
And Wall was settling - numerically he did fine. But he didn't get in the lane and force the issue. It was unsettling (pun intended
)
