Bynum, Memphis 2015 1st, Cleveland 2014 2nd for Chandler, $3 million, Beno. We'd get the Memphis first next year if it's 6-14. Protection is wacky after that until unprotected in 2019.

JR + Felton + Aldrich for Bynum saves Cavs some money and stays in line with their playoff battle. And what better punishment that would be for him?

Cavs save money by cutting Bynum.

And get nothing in return while they're trying to obtain a playoff spot. Felton is still a solid backup PG and JR is better than CJ Miles and Alonzo Gee.

Being that Bynum Quit on his team may enhance the Knicks chances to getting Rondo in a 3 Team Trade

Knicks would get
_________________
Rondo
Bass
Lee

Cleveland would get
__________________
Humpries
Shumpert

Boston would get
_________________
Amare
Bynum
Waiters
Udrih
and once again Knicks give up first round pick 2018

Knicks would get the point Guard they need plus a starting shooting Guard in Lee (solid) and size in Bass, Decent rebounder. 2014 second round pick from Cleveland.

Cleveland would get Iman Shumpert and Chris Humphries 2 Players they had intrest in in the past, they get rid of Bynum and Waiters whom they trying hard to get rid of.

Boston would get Amare, Bynum, Waiters and Udrih. a young Guard they can pair with Bradly and a ton of cap space with of course the Knicks pick in 2018

Amare, Aldrich, Udrih and pick for Bynum, Bennett, and Clark. Works under the cap.

Aldrich and Udrih are expirings. They get rid of Bennett and Clark two guys on 4/3 yr contracts that have been underperforming. They bite the Amare bullett but its only 2 yrs, overall its saves money.

Knicks get two young guys in Bennett and Clark who get a second chance, and a Bynum whatever thats worth.

Forgive me for basically asking the same thing as yesterday, but why? I'm trying really hard to understand where you are coming from. From what I gather you strongly dislike the following players: Amar'e, Bargnani, JR Smith, Udrih, Chandler, Felton, and possibly Shumpert. Most of the trades you propose involve off-loading their contracts to other teams for minimal returns, indicating you are solely interested in a salary dump. My question is, why? None of those guys have poisonous long-term contracts. Off-loading them will still keep us above the cap and without a pick until the 2015 off-season. Yesterday with the OKC trade you proposed you said you wanted to shake up the team now and prepare for 2015 by shifting our squad to a younger running, defensive-minded team (Hence Adams and Sefolosha).

But Bynum? Bynum moves us no closer to that goal, and the unguaranteed portion of his contract doesn't help us in terms of getting under the cap earlier than 2015. I think you will even agree the Knicks become worse with this trade, as they would be relying heavily on older guys like Prigioni and World Peace, as well as Murray and Udrih for heavy PG minutes. Unless you think this trade would make us better by subtraction, I don't see your rationale at all.

I don't hate Tyson or Shumpert. We can all agree that those two are our best trade assets outside of Melo and Hardaway, but most have a very biased view of how high that trade value is. Like I said yesterday, if you can get a promising big man prospect such as Steven Adams for them, that's very good value since those are rare. But there's no way Tyson and Shumpert can net you an allstar player in his prime.

Those other guys you mentioned are pure addition by subtraction. They are low IQ players put in roles they shouldn't be in. Their value is close to zero, just look around the trade board. Nobody wants them. Felton and JR will be occupying 9M of our cap in 2015. That's a huge chunk for two players that shouldn't be playing any more than 15-20 minutes per game. Getting Bynum for those two and making him the 2nd scoring option would make us a better team for as long as he stays healthy, since we'd finally have a post scorer that can open up the floor for others.

Tyson Chandler
Iman Shumpert

for

Steven Adams
Jeremy Lamb
Kendrick Perkins

Who says no?

EDIT: Then we could trade Melo for young players and picks in the upcoming draft and start the rebuild process.

Your team gutted itself for Melo instead of signing him in FA. Stoudamire, traded for Bargnani. Picked up Billup's option just to amnesty him. Cavs can't touch any of that.
