Indy San Antonia and OKC?

This is gonna be torture.

If we go 3-0 on this trip I'll wear a dress next time I walk my dog around my neighborhood.

Is Kidd really going with that same starting lineup?

The Pacers have way to much size to go that small. They're going to eat us alive inside.

Start Mirza, his defense was pretty good against West last time.

After another Kidd coaching structure change today, I'm expecting a 15 point loss with plenty of ISO Pierce & Johnson, with KG bricking wide open looks and Williams looking lost because we have no offensive structure.

The Nets start their three-game road trip, against teams that are a combined 70-17, in Indiana.

And so it begins. The Brooklyn Nets begin an extremely difficult three-game roadtrip Saturday night in Indiana, when they face the Eastern Conference-leading Pacers at Bankers Life FieldHouse. Here's what we'll be watching for:

THE GAUNTLET: Doesn't get any worse than this, does it? Dates with Indiana (23-5), San Antonio (23-7) and Oklahoma City (24-5). The Nets, who have lost more games (19) than those three teams combined (17), snapped their four-game losing streak Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks (6-23). For a team in turmoil, at least it's something. It's probably a bad time to point out that the Pacers are 13-1 at home, have the NBA's best defense and are 2-0 against the Nets this season. Oh well.

SAME LINEUP? Deron Williams, Shaun Livingston, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett started Friday night. It was Brooklyn's 13th different starting lineup this season. Will Nets coach Jason Kidd stick with it? We'll find out. In the 41 minutes they've played together, Williams and Livingston have had success (116 points per 100 possessions for, 107.1 allowed).

DYNAMIC DUO: When these two teams faced each other Monday, Paul George and Lance Stephenson each scored 26 points. George (23.9 ppg) has blossomed into one of the best players in the NBA. Stephenson, one of the best players in New York City high school basketball history, has three triple-doubles this season.

NOTES: Andray Blatche (personal reasons) will not be on the trip with the team. Andrei Kirilenko (back) said he expected to travel, but is not expected to play. CSNChicago.com reports the Nets are one of several teams interested in Luol Deng. Not sure they have the assets to land him in a trade, but we'll see.

Yeesh....

Pacers had to endure a similar trip out West earlier in the season. At Clippers, Blazers, Jazz, Thunder and Spurs. They came out of it 3-2. So... 2-1 would be really good for the Nets.

Probably alone in this thinking but if it were me and I'm just throwing out random line ups night after night, I'd probably try this line up against the Pacers...

6'11 253lbs Kevin Garnette - 7'2 280lbs Roy Hibbert
6'8 245lbs Reggie Evans - 6'9 250lbs David West
6'7 240lbs Joe Johnson - 6'9 220lbs Paul George
6'6 220lbs Alan Anderson - 6'5 230lbs Lance Stephenson
6'3 209lbs Deron Williams - 6'3 188lbs George Hill

6'11 235lbs Miles Plumlee - 6'11 250lbs Ian Mahinimi
6'9 242lbs Mirza Teletovic - 6'9 240lbs Luis Scola
6'7 235lbs Paul Pierce - 6'9 228lbs Danny Granger
6'2 180lbs Jason Terry - 6'5 220lbs Orlando Johnson
6'7 175lbs Shaun Livingston - 6'2 175lbs CJ Watson

That's probably what I'd try against the Pacers with Kirlenko and Blatche out. Garnette can pull Hibbert away from the basket with jumpers and Reggie Evans help with rebounding against a good rebounding Pacers team. That line up also matches up size wise. Shaun Livingston should get abused by Lance Stephenson and Paul George. Pierce will get abused by West defensively but offensively can probably shake West for open looks. Though, West did have to guard Shumpert at times against the Knicks in the playoffs last season because the Knicks were playing Melo at PF and he could score at well against West. Pacers kept Paul George on Melo defensively and let West abuse whoever was trying to guard him.West did an alright job chasing Shumpert around so he may be able to decent against an aging Pierce. Then again, Shumpert is shutting himself down this season so I'm not sure West keeping up with him post-injury in the playoffs is saying much. I just feel like Livingston and Pierce will get lit up by Stephenson/George and West. Maybe not though...?

Some of these ex-players on NBATV are such apologists. They need a couple guys like Chuck and Kenny that straight **** on players when they deserve it. Dahntay Jones just excusing it all. 3D calling out the players but giving Kidd a pass.

Is it possible Brook Lopez could return for the playoffs or is he just done completely?

Chuck would never call out Kidd though. He's such a coach apologist. He blames everything on the players when things go bad.
