Basically, what we have here is a situation in which people are hovering around like vultures, WAITING for even ONE potential bad game from Gay as some sort of validation for what everybody else is saying.

Nevermind that he's actually had more good games playing for us than he has bad games. That's irrelevant to you guys. All you need is ONE poor shooting night and, "AHA! I KNEW IT ALL ALONG!"

Whatever man. 11-19, good enough for 26 points. I guess you won't get your opportunity to complain this game. Maybe next time...

Rudy hasn't shot this well since his 10-11 season with the grizzlies when he was on track for a career year before his shoulder injury. I think this kings team is a fresh start and bringing out the best in IT, DMC and Rudy as well it's a great start for Rudy so far hope he keeps it up and manages an all star selection as a reserve with DMC if he's consistent with his new play.

Wow wow calm down, talking about Gay as an All Star is ridiculous. If DMC gets anyone else from the Kings with him it's Isaiah Thomas.

I don't think Rudy is an all star yet but I agree Isaiah is making a good case for an all star bid but if anything look what this trade has brought to the team it's improved Isaiah so much and Rudy that you can atleast put them in conversation. You could probably call Isaiah, Rudy and DeMarcus a small town big three! On any given night they can all notch 20 plus points each and have 30 boards and 20 assists combined.

Fair weather fans.....

Complain about EVERYTHING!

The Gay trade will not work right out the gate as you are hoping due to your highest of high expectations. Dude is slowly but surely getting used to how we do things here. Did you see that defense on Lebron in the fourth and overtime?

Those big shots - shot after shot - that we are so accustomed to seeing from him during his Memphis stint?

Sit small bro until your name is called. The Gay trade is about to lift and pay off real soon.

While the discussion around trading Tyreke to get Gay is legit (brought up in the thread to the previous game, and something I've considered bringing up as well) I think the last game with the Heat demonstrates what Gay brings that Tyreke failed to bring in his years as a King. We all new how deadly Tyreke was getting to the basket, he just never seemed to develop an outside game, without which, we can't open the floor and give space to DMC.

Regardless, much of this discussion is limited to losing Tyreke's offensive prowess. This loss is negated considering how Cousins is learning how to consistently dominate games. I question whether he would have this opportunity if Tyreke was still with us. Ultimately what this team needs is better team defense and stronger individual efforts in one on one defense. The last part is something that Gay brings since he demonstrated he has the size and athleticism to make things difficult for the likes of LeBron.

I am still not 100% sold on Gay and I am huge Reke fan , but that being said I would of traded Reke straight up Gay. As I mentioned before, Reke was elite at getting to the rim but when the good defensive teams put the pressure on you better be able to hit pull ups and three pointers. Reke couldn't do that, he has shown very little improvement and although he tries every off season he never seems to follow through it the plans.

As I posted that, watching the Rockets - Pelicans game, turning into a tight game towards the end of the 4th and Evans got pass in the corner and was wide open for a 3 but he didn't take it, he ran into the paint made a bad pass and turned the ball over.
