Andrew Bynum and south beach probably wouldn't mix well....but at least he'll have stars to keep him straight

Andrew Bynum and basketball point blank period don't mix well these days, but after LA, Philly, & Cleveland, all different cultural cities, I doubt that there's any particular place that'll help his psyche

Brian Windhorst said the 2 main teams he wants to play for are the Clipps and Miami and maybe Boston

If Miami signs him, I have no choice but to hate them. Wade and Chalmers alone make me root against them despite Lebron being so much fun to watch. A healthy Bynum makes that team absolutely unstoppable. A 50% Bynum probably gets the Heat a championship anyway. God I hate that dude and would absolutely hate the Heat if they signed him.

nah, they'd be back to a big 3. bosh's role would decrease further. As it is, he's only averaging 15/6 and is mainly taking mid-range and 3 point jumpers. Bosh's role would be little more than a role player.

Bynum is basically turning into Olowokandi 2.0.

Except he has two titles and all star appearances.

Ajinca has been good for the Pellicans. They may have got a nice little bargain for that minimum contract of his.

He played for the wrong LA team, that's the only difference.

further proof that bigs peak in their late twenties and teams are waaay too impatient with them.

16 points, 23 rebounds, and 14 fouls in 4 games. Good might be an overstatement, but he's probably a lot better than he was with us.

He probably doesn't sustain this the rest of the season though. Call it what you will, but Snidely hit the nail on the head. Big just peak later than other position players and teams are incredibly impatient with them. That being said, I still don't think he was worth the next year's first rounder to select him 21st in the first round that year.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

When it comes in 14 minutes per game, those are good stats.

I'm kind of disappointed in Gordon Hayward's growth as a player for the Utah Jazz. I thought after he basically demanded near max-contract money before the extension deadline that he'd come out firing on all cylinders on a depleted team, and average 20+ points per game, but he's actually regressed from his last season's production as their 1st option offensively beyond the raw numbers

Hayward is shooting more, but making less, as evidenced by his 39% shooting from the field, and even more dismaying is that he went from a plus-40% 3 point shooter to currently making only 28% from beyond the arc

To put it into perspective for a Bobcats fan, Josh McRoberts attempt 3.4 three-pointers per game, making 1.1 at a 33% clip, compared to Hayward shooting 3.8 a game and only fielding 1.1 for 28% from that mark

...rather disappointing

well Gordon is Utah's primary scorer so teams are trying to take him out of the game which explains his low shooting %, he doesn't have Al and Paul to help him this time, that just proves he isn't a #1 offensive option, still averaging 16/5/5 which is good

You're making my point 'JDR720', that he's not a #1 offensive option, and that he doesn't deserve the money that he demanded at the extension deadline. Albeit 16/5/5 being more than serviceable, his shooting percentages are abysmal, especially for somebody with a reputation for being a decent perimeter shooter

I'm not saying that he's a bad player, but that his progression from previous season's to this year has been disappointing so far. No doubt he's a good & very solid player, but this season's return in production amid higher expectations from the negotiation table, I think it'll be safe to say that Utah made the right decision in staying firm

Calling 'MasterIchiro'

Jeremy Lamb had 22 points on 8 of 10 shooting (3 of 4 from beyond the arc), 4 rebounds, & 3 assist in only 22 minutes of play as the Thunder trounced the Rockets today, 117-86

I wonder if Daryl Morey is having second thoughts? I doubt it, but it's fun to wonder

BTW, James Harden had 8 points on 2 of 9 shooting in 30 minutes
