There is no way the Bears only win 6 more games. They will win 10 or 11 this season.

Oh so you knew that half the defense was going to get hurt and the bears defense was going to suck on historic levels?

see bold

but to answer your question, no i did not know that the defense would be that bad. nor did i know the offense would be that good. it all evened out and we came to the same place - a mediocre team

yeah because I knew that the defense was going to be this bad when I made that claim. And the offense was bound to be this good with the talent it has on that side of it. It didn't really even out like you said. Making early season prediction are always based off of your team staying healthy. Seeing as that didn't happen, I would say predictions are irrelevant.

I doubt your prediction was based on the analysis of the bears having a bottom three defense, so there are really no bragging rights.

the offense was "bound to" go from middle of the pack to one of the best in the league despite no changes to the skill positions? alright then

you said there was NO WAY the bears wouldn't win 10 or 11 games. no nfl team goes without significant injuries

the offense was BETTER because cutler got injured

Seriously? Losing this many starters and being this weak on the dline because of injuries isn't the norm by any means in the nfl. Losing your 2 starting LB due to injuries isn't the norm either.

Also the bears didnt need change in skill position to improve. They needed a much better scheme. And no, Cutler's injury wasn't the reason bears got better on offense. The offense was top 10 this year with Cutler too. We were ranked 8th in total yards when he got hurt and that's where we ended the season at. Saying it got better because he got hurt is ridiculous.
