Game starts soon. Curry vs. Irving should be fun to watch.

I'd like to see Bennett get serious run tonight.

Yep, with Bynum suspended... I hope Bennett and Zeller plays a lot more.

We should suspend Bynum more often.

Why would any team in the league foul Bennett?

Tyler Zeller has looked noticeably better than at any point last year. Confidence and "strength" (relative to last year). He was able to shoot well at UNC, people tend to forget that.

I don't understand why Zeller doesn't get more playing time. He played 26 MPG last year, this year only 8.

If he could create his own shot he'd be so much more important.

He's not really a difference maker

Everything we were doing well just vanishes so quick.

Like, how do they not realize what the right thing to do is? They just revert to their terrible ways

I love Dion, but I don't love watching him play for 20+ minutes in a row every night. Once Brown puts him in he doesn't get any rest. CJ should get a couple of minutes to spell him.

Yeah, Zeller does look stronger, but he was so weak last season it would be hard not to. He shot well at the beginning of last season, but when he lost his shooting touch he was almost useless after that. Just another body out there. He should get some more run now that Bynum is out the door, so we will see if he has improved much.

Hi guys. Warriors fan here. Valiant effort last night. Just wanted to give my opinion of your squad Feel free to disregard it if you don't want to read a critique/assessment from an outsider.

Kyrie: Outstanding scorer, good playmaker, balls of steel. Could use a bit more passing in his game to become an elite PG. But pretty awesome to watch, nonetheless.

Waiters: Definitely a talented scorer and a tough dude. I like his attitude. At this point he'd be an amazing 6th man. Just don't really see him complementing Kyrie the way you'd like the SG to be able to do. Might be worth more to this team in a trade for a prototypical wing. A good talent, though, despite his off night.

T.Thompson: Not really impressed, at least in terms of him being a stud/difference maker-type. He seemed to disappear and didn't make his presence felt against what is a pretty poor defender in David Lee. I think his lack of toughness is what shone through, as he has the tools to be a good player. Just something a bit off about him. An above average contributor, nonetheless, but I think you would be better served with a banger, post scorer PF.

Varejao: Really enjoy watching him play. Non-stop motor. Solid on offense and defense. High IQ. Tough. Would be a household name if he was on a contender. Could be a keeper if you had that banger/low post scorer at PF for him to play next to.

J.Jack: Top level bench player. Thought he was effective in the 3-guard sets against the Warriors in the 1st half. But really seems redundant with Waiters there.

Zeller: Showed some flashes, particularly with his range and his size. Stick with him and he'll be a valuable player before long. Not sure if he is a long term answer at center, but he's a good one to have on the team definitely.

Bennett: Looked lost and out of his element, even for a 20 year old rookie. Not sure what his role will be eventually, I suppose an inside-out PF, but his lack of energy and smarts were not encouraging. Usually there are signs of a young, raw player and what he can bring to the table physically, but I didn't see anything from Bennett that was promising. Hopefully for your sakes he is just playing like this due to some sort of injury holding him back.

I think you guys are a banger and an athletic wing that can shoot from the outside away from being a dangerous team. I'd advise dealing Waiters and Thompson to get an upgrade and to draft/sign some players to help round out your team. An Aaron Afflalo type would be great to fill the wing void. At PF I think even a Taj Gibson would fit the bill, or if you want a bargain (relatively) then Bynum for Boozer would be a big help.

Anyway, best of luck.
