Dont Forget About

Post#1 » by dlts20 » Sun Dec 29, 2013 4:47 pm

Mods, feel free to move this somewhere else. Im out of town on school break so I havent been able to catch full games as much. Ive been downloading some but that takes forever. Then last night I remembered about NBA.com having that box score thing where they show a video of nearly every single stat. I saw some of the game last night but not all. I scrolled over Wall's FG's made and selected it and it showed me a video of all 8 baskets. Did it for the previous game also. Takes a lil time but its cool

That's the Adam Silver era for you. He wants to make stats and advanced stats more accessible to the casual viewer. Wants more visual breakdowns and information available to fans.

as soon as fans begin to understand adv stats a bit better, maybe popular demand
will force networks to start using them routinely. Right now it seems as though
many fans don't understand adv stats (I could understand them better) or really
know what is considered good/avg/mediocre.
