I think it's a bit unfair for some of the personal attacks on Bynum's character. There's much more to life than just Basketball, and if he doesn't love the game anymore (whether due to injuries or whatever) then he has every right to want to quit the sport. It's disappointing since he had the potential to be the best center in the league, but it is what it is

I wouldn't really care if he wanted to leave basketball completely. But it seems like he wants to go ring chasing, which is sad.

Per TMZ (Yeah I know) Bynum was sleeping with a Cavs' assistant coaches' wife:

http://www.terezowens.com/andrew-byn...h-coachs-wife/

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Sunday that they have lifted the suspension of center Andrew Bynum, but he still remains away from the team, excused from all basketball activities for the foreseeable future. Was it a case of Bynum being Bynum, or is there something else going on behind the curtains? According to our tipster, apparently Bynum got together with assistant coach Jamahl Mosley’s wife. When they found out, that was the final straw. The Cavs should have stayed far away from Bynum, especially after his disastrous stint in Philly.-TO

Wow if this is true this dude is insane. Ultimate way to get off a team outside of the owners girlfriend.

There's just something about Cleveland and hilarious affairs, or it could probably be due to lack of things to do in the city.

As for the HEAT getting him, Dan Gilbert wouldn't "allow" that to happen.

Explain please. If Bynum gets cut, how will Dan Gilbert be able to do anything?

Wait soooo....They're mad at Bynum because someone's whore of a wife wanted the pipe? How is that his fault? If anything, he did the coach a favor.

I agree with the first half of your sentence, but I just want to go on record and say I just got back from a trip to Cleveland and I ran out of time to do all the things I wanted to do/see.

I'm sure Cleveland isn't exactly Sydney or London,

but I always laugh when NBA players act like any NBA city is Podunk South Dakota or something.

Even a lesser city like Cleveland is probably more fun than 90% of the towns in this country.

You would think every NBA player was born and raised in Times Square or Hollywood and can't accept living in a regular town like regular folk.

well, cleveland's population decreased from 900,000 in 1950 to 400,000 in 2010. so not even regular folks "want" to live there anymore. cleveland is a hopeless ghost town, among the most dangerous cities in the country, even the climate is horrible. it's not detroit, no... but that's about the only positive thing you could say about it.

So I guess you are not familiar with the suburban housing boom that took place after WW2?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Just curious as to what you were able to do when you got here? Every time we get clients in and we take them out....all of them leave with the same "damn we had a lot of fun, this place isn't so bad after all lol".
