Dallas twice this season did what no other team had done to us - dominate out o-line and pressure Foles and force him outside the pocket. Will be interesting to see how other teams react to that.

considering how historically bad our defense was and how good your offense was, that's what is so mind boggling about our matchup

Damn, the Falcons ended this tank clinic with brute force. Just straight up snap the ball 20 yards in the backfield on your game-winning drive. Bold move.

Now **** if I know the order of these 4-12 teams. We're picking somewhere from 3 to 7.

edit: nevermind, we're picking 6th. If only those pesky Bills and Skins weren't able to overcome out late game fail strategies we'd be tied with Houston.

If the Redskins had just converted that 2 point conversion we'd have the 2nd pick right now...

Wes Welker 73 catches 778 yards
Julian Edelman 105 catches 1,056 yards

Played in more games too.

So it wasn't Amendola who replaced him, it was Edelman! Good for Edelman, back in 2010 when Welker went down on the last week of the season, Edelman was forced into the role on no weeks rest and people shat on him for not getting the job done, and laughed at the idea that he could replace Welker. Well he did this year, and he did with almost no help from other receivers. That's pretty impressive.

I hope the guy gets paid, but paid decently and from us.

I think the "replaceability" of Wes Welker is being really overlooked. Even on a per game basis, Edelman outproduced him.

The Patriots offense really didn't miss him...they missed their TEs. Without Gronk and Hernandez, they had Edelman and a bunch of wildly inconsistent WRs (Thompkins, Dobson, Amendola). Vereen basically becomes a default WR, because nobody outside of Edelman can really be relied on. When Gronk played, the Pats offense went right back to being dominant.
