there is no such thing as a good larry brown, so the obvious answer is the bad larry brown.

Ugh. We're stuck with Fat Albert and his lazy defense for the next 3 years. I damn near cracked my TV when I threw my fork at it watching him in the 4th. I don't know how much of this team can I put up with. I'm normally calm but not after tonight loss. That's three in a row. All winnable games.

My team is losing,
I don't know why,
Im sure its just bad luck,
Im sure they'll be fine,

My team is losing,
I think i found the reason,
Im absolutely sure,
It has something to do with this season,

My team was winning,
And now they're behind,
They tried to comeback,
But there's to much pressure to try,

They' started tanking,
The reason was simple,
They just aren't good enough,
To not get stuck in the middle,

My team has fallen apart,
Cant win a single game,
I think the fan are gonna turn,
How'd the season end up this way,

My team tanked the season,
It was the only way,
To turn this team around,
We had to join the tanking game,

The team won the lottery,
We got the next big thing,
He was gonna turn us around,
And show us the way,

We thought he was gonna soar,
And he ended up being poor.
We got stuck in the middle,
And Nothing else more.

How many layups is Fat Albert going to miss at the end of games?

I watched Al the final minute or two of that game. That was HORRENDOUS. Two blown rotations for easy baskets, missed, a point blank layup even Biyombo would've made, a F***ING THREE POINTER WITH 11 SECONDS LEFT, what the flying **** was he thinking? Oh, and then swishing a halfcourt three after all that did him ZERO favors. I'm kinda pissed at him right now and kind of pissed at BRD for not playing Biz more. PLAY THEM BOTH YOU STUPID HANK SCHRADER LOOK-ALIKE. One plays all defense no offense, the other is all offense no defense, and both hit the boards hard. Biz has every right to be upset after that horrendous final minute. There is no reason we wouldn't have won that game. The Jazz won on our horrendous play and that's how it's been the last four or five games now. We play just well enough to tie with a few minutes left and then we **** the **** bed.

His name isn't Albert. It's Albus

...and he's a game blower. Definitely not somebody that I'd put the ball in the hands of, neither would I have him in the game for defensive purposes down the stretch. Other than that, in-between game, he's usually 'gold' (but not tonight)

One of the worst games I have ever seen from Kemba. He has never looked less like a point guard. Burke? Real deal.

Offense was horrid. Shades of Dunlap. When you have two shoot-first point guards that can’t shoot, you’re in trouble.

Al gets a big share of the blame as well with his world class interior D - horrible game all around.

Oh well – ping pong ball.

As much crap as he got on this board, losing Taylor with MKG out was completely devastating to us. He was another guy who could put up 10-15 PPG, could hit an open three, and at least defends better than Tolliver. There's a reason we've gone 1-4 (with the one being a one point OT win against the worst team in the league) since he's gone out.

I hate to say it, but where was Ben Gordon tonight? I hate him as much as the next guy, but he can hit an open three and can at least put points on the board. He couldn't have been much worse than Sesh or Tolliver were tonight.

I agree about Taylor, losing him really hurt the depth of this team, he was also as you say, another scorer who could stretch the floor. He may have been just as important, maybe even more important than MKG for this team, cause Taylor was the guy we used to finish games, while MKG was used primarily as a defensive hustle type player who Clifford treated as a offensive liability. I wonder how MKG will be used upon his return and if his minutes will be split with Tolliver or CDR.

for the past 3 years we have basically been the worst offensive team in the league. throughout those 3 years there have been 2 constants playing ~30mpg - henderson and kemba.

im not really sure where i am going with that statement, just putting it out there.

I'd say the effect on defense is just as devastating. Currently we have some turnstile action at the 3 and 4 spots when Tolliver, CDR, and Zeller are playing and Ramon is no lockdown guy himself either. So unlike previously when Kemba, Hendo, MKG, Taylor and McBob could all generally keep their men out of the lane individually and via P&R defense, now way more guys are getting through 'the wall' and attacking Jefferson's matador defense.

All it means is you can't win when those two are your best defensive players on the floor.

I just realized that my game thread winning streak came to a end. That just made this loss even more damning
