What skill specifically are you seeing with Cody Zeller?

I don't know

I'm just in denial that his offensive production inside the paint at Indiana University wasn't a fluke. As much as some may think I am harsh on Zeller because of his lack of performance thus far, I really, really, really want to believe that he's better than what he's shown. Otherwise, he's been just as good as a undrafted rookie

McLemore is a legitimate shooter. And that's a skill he won't lose. I think confidence limits him. He doesn't feel comfortable with the ball in his hands, but neither was Jeremy Lamb at first.

I'm still pissed they married Gerald Henderson when a shooter was needed and available. It's a skill missing on this team. It's definitely a skill. So I would say Zeller lacks skill and McLemore lacks confidence.

Wrong pick.

Comparing Jeremy Lamb's playmaking ability with the ball in his hands to Ben McLemore's is like night & day. Indeed, McLemore does have a skill, and that's shooting, which he's currently displaying now at a 36% from beyond the arc clip, but he's limited to what he can do outside of catch-and-shoot situations. McLemore is essentially a Danny Green type of player right now, and when he try to go outside of those limits, that's when he struggle the way he currently is --- but he'll get better. I want to believe that McLemore would've had a role on the Bobcats' roster as a perimeter shooter, but he still would've been disappointing as a rookie

As far as Cody Zeller, if he displayed the same ability to score in the paint as he did in the NCAA, he would be a very valuable asset to Charlotte's victories. He's shown flashes, but more dimness

Here's mine thru 7
1. cavs - oladipo - perfect fit next to kyrie, they can shop waiters or use him as 6th man
2. magic - carter-williams - now they have their pg of the future
3. wizards - giannis - too much upside to ignore, even for a team looking for immediate help
4. cats - mclemore - we really need shooting, even though i am not a big fan of him
5. suns - noel - BPA
6. pelicans (sixers) - burke - not sure if the trade still goes down, but burke would still fit
7. kings - adams - team needs a rim protector in the worst way

how fall do bennett, len and porter fall? i figure zeller is still probably top 10.

CLE - Giannis
ORL - MCW
WAS - Oladipo (i don't know wtf they do with Wall+Beal already there, but there are only three legit players in this whole draft- he's BPA by a long shot)
CHA - Adams
PHX - Zeller/Len/Noel
PHI - Zeller/Len/Noel
SAC - McLemore/Porter
DET - Burke

Outside of Giannis, I'm not excited about anybody in this draft.

mrKIA - i definitely agree about millsap. he would have been a better fit. no idea if he would have come here though, but if he would go to atlanta, why not.

i dont really blame the front office for resigning hendo. we got him on a fair deal (at least based on how he played last year). he should be viewed as an asset. and the players love him and he plays good defense. i was never in favor of signing him last year if it was a bigger deal that what we gave him.

its time to consider moving said asset however, if not now, at least this summer. he's had enough time to develop a 3pt shot and he refuses. thats on him.

I question the underlined part. Henderson has been doing some rather 'selfish' operations in-game that has made me raise a eyebrow or two. For instance, a couple of times I've seen him intentionally ignore passing the ball to Kemba & Jefferson on in-bound plays to put the ball in a corner to McRoberts where only he'd be able to get the ball back. Also, I've seen him stop good ball movement plenty of times to black hole & call for a ball screen in attempt to get himself a shot. I think he's a good guy, but I doubt any of the players hang with him outside of the practice facilities. At least that's what I've heard from somebody

He has shown nothing to lead anyone to believe he is a "legitimate" shooter. This is getting old

I was all for the resigning, but now I feel like he is the last piece from a former era. He just doesn't fit this team in any way at all.

Kyrie might of torn his ACL. His knee buckled and it get scary when he say that he heard something pop. I don't like him but I hope he's alright and it's something minor.

He posted 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting (3 of 5 on 3-pointers), 4 rebounds, 5 assist, & 2 blocks in only 24 minutes of play. I wish Boston would've drew something up for him at the end instead of letting Jordan Crawford miss 3 consecutive shots in the final minute

That's a real stretch 4 for ya. I still would've preferred him plus a shooter over Zeller if we could've traded down.

Kyrie Irving came back to play in the 4th quarter, but then again so did Rajon Rondo when he tore his ACL last year. I guess they'll find out after the MRI tomorrow. If he's out for the season, the Cavs will continue their descend as one of the worst teams in the NBA, and will be gifted the #1 overall selection

Lakers will get it after they trade Gasol.

They'd probably select Noah Vonleh with that pick anyway.

I like yours. Although if I was running the Cats personally I would have drafted Noel and sucked haaaard this year for one final chance of ping pong glory. With the 4th pick in a weak draft, why not take a chance on the only guy that looked like an arguably top pick before his injury? Think how exciting the first year of the Hornets would have been with the debut of Noel, a high draft pick from this year and tons of cap space?

Bobcats would've 'sucked haaaard' with McLemore too. He's not exactly an efficient perimeter shooter yet like many thought he would've been (sans me). The only reason why Charlotte isn't at the bottom of the standings is because they added some competent frontcourt help in Jefferson & McRoberts over the span of the year 2013, and the slight progression in Biyombo from previous seasons until now
