Two things I have to say in support of Conte is that a lot of the time the reason it looked like conte was at fault for a run play it was because the first 7 didn't even touch. Second, he's always around the ball he just needs to make the plays. Hopefully he gets better at that but there's no reason to cut him with the money he makes. He'd be a grwat back up

Conte couldl get the Jamarcus Webb oppurtunity. He will get a shot in at training camp to make the roster. If he gets out played by other guys, he will be cut.

I'm not so sure he would. You have to think that, with a buffet of tape on this guy, other teams will now target him whenever he comes in (if they haven't been already).

My brother and I laughed all season while watching the games. It seems like no matter what whenever a bad play on defense happened Conte was always somehow involved. Not to say he was responsible for every bad play but even on the bad plays he wasn't responsible for he was usually out of position or just doing nothing. He was responsible for many many bad plays though. I had high hopes for Conte but he's a back-up at best.

I also have to agree with the poster above. It was obvious that teams attacked Conte (and Shea) in the running game.

He's been the epitome of our D's uselessness.
