Where is the Derrick Williams that played so well in his first weeks in Sacramento?

Just isn't getting involved in the offense at all. I haven't watched the last couple games, but I think it's partly due to a lack of regular minutes since Gay's arrival, not running plays for him, and not cutting as well to the basket.

Could Jimmer defend any player in the league?? Even if he puts 20pts/game, he will let anyone scoring 40pts on him.

Re: Kings vs 76ers
I see no reason why the Kings don't win this game. They' just need to tighten up the defense and hit a little better than 50% from the free throw line.
About Derrick Williams--I saw him flourishing playing next to McLemore, which he isn't doing much of these days. Those two guys were running the floor together and throwing each other ally-oops early on. I could see McLemore and Williams being a nice super-sub duo, but the coach wants to keep starting McLemore so that's that. Don't say I disagree but it is what it is.
On another note, it's so awesome how much better Cousins' offense has gotten this season. Nobody can check him one-on-one these days. He has spin moves, takes guys off the dribble, powerful post up moves. He gets battered every night but his scoring still looks effortless most of the time.

Not fun at all. It's been a depressing game to watch. There's no intensity out there tonight.

Is this real life? 12 straight points for Jimmer. My man.
Also, I'm pretty sure all of Derrick Williams' points are highly vicious one-handed dunks. With that one monster block on top of all that, welcome back.

Re: Kings vs 76ers
14 assists just won't get it done.
I don't know if it's because the other players at his position are just that bad defensively or if he's just that much better than before, probably a little bit of both, but I've noticed Jimmer Fredette is the most consistent defender at PG/SG this team has had this year. He's become really solid at playing through picks and following his man around screens. Can't say the same for his teammates. If you isolate the action at PG and SG, Fredette and Thornton are the only guys at those spots that stay in remotely the same proximity of the player they are defending.

I can't imagine what goes through Malone's head when he sees his team fails on defense.

Its partially his fault, they couldn't hit a jumper. We simply could of played a zone or told the guys to play under the screens.

That's true.
I'm willing to give Malone a break because this is his 1st year as a head coach of a NBA team. I still think he is the right guy for the job imo.

Re: Kings vs 76ers
Am I the only one who thought the refs had a vendetta against Cousins tonight? 3 offensive foul calls, 2 were tangled plays and the 3rd was a blatant shoulder-block that STILL was called against him. This is setting a presidence that teams can do ANYTHING to Cousins to get him out of the game, and it'll work solely based on his past reputation.
Also, IT got mugged plenty of times with no call...

Re: Kings vs 76ers
Refs were bad both ways tonight, no flow at all.
I think we should be happy that we arn't stuck in neutral right now. We are losing more than winning but at the same time developing guys that will be here long term. Cousins is improving daily.
I look at the overreactions on the general board and I can't help but laugh, some teams are getting pumped for a .500 records and possibly a first round playoff exit. I thank god we aren't in that position.

If they were not so tight on Hawes maybe, looks like just some ticky tack stuff where the coin happened to flip on Cuz side.
The call that made me mad was the screen Gray set.

They are playing with his role and minutes if you haven't noticed

McLemore sucked ass again, and you have to be concerned with what he has shown so far.

I'm not worried yet.
He is only like 20.
