Knicks send:
Carmelo Anthony
Raymond Felton

Suns send:
Goran Dragic
Markieff Morris
Marcus Morris
Emeka Okafor
Pacers' 2014 1st round pick
Suns' 2014 1st round pick

There's no way a Melo trade happens with the Suns & Dragic isn't involved.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

If he mastered at least one more are, like Love does with rebounding, I'd be ok, but that's not the case. If the Clippers or Lakers want to have him, let them go for it.

Melo's the best rebounding SF in the league..

Melo's the best rebounding SF in the league..

In absolut terms, perhaps, but Melo's rebounding rate is exactly the same as Kieff's, for instance. Not too inspiring when he spends so much time at PF. He pulls down nine rebounds per game, but needs almost 40 minutes to do so.

Dude, Melo is walking away from your team next year. We'd send our entire treasure chest for a 1yr rental of Melo? You want all of that?

Our GM doesn't even answer the phone.

Clippers - Melo
Knicks - Okafor, Dudley, 4 first rounders
Suns - Griffin

Clipps get Melo who would surely resign there to play with his buddy Chris Paul.
Knicks risk losing Anthony for nothing and should start rebuilding (James Dolan I know, but still) with a whole lot of picks.
Suns get their star PF without giving any important piece of the current team.

Sounds nice but I don't see it is happening.

Me neither knowing Knicks FO but their fans are for dealing Melo for picks, based on General board here.

We'd most likely have to give up Archie to NY, and I'd be fine with that if we got Griffin. Blake is playing like an absolute animal this year, it would be Nash-Amare all over again (Dragic-Griffin), and possibly start the whole sequence over (Bledsoe walks away like JJ possibly!?!).
But man... Griffin on this time would be exciting.

Because 5.5 million of insurance dollars to the Suns would disappear should Emeka play in the 2nd half of the season, I'm guessing he...his contract is likely only being viewed as a trade asset or expiring.

Hayward is third among SF's in assists per game. That's hard to do on a terrible team. The low FG% doesn't mean much to me because he'd never be double-teamed here but our backcourt and spacing. I'd like Tucker coming off the bench eliminating Green's minutes.

I'm starting to drink the Hayward hype.

The kid is tough, athletic, crafty, can shoot, defend, and even has some clutch moments. His percentages would increase if surrounded by a stacked team.

At the same time, his usage here would decrease (currently similar to Bledsoe and Dragic's), which should probably have a big impact on his assist numbers.

I don't think Gordon Hayward gets double-teamed.

Is the 2014 draft before the free agency period? If so, then I can see the Suns offering Hayward a deal and Utah doing a S&T with him (assuming the Jazz get a top 2-3 pick), but if it's the other way around, I think the Jazz are keeping Hayward.

I don't think Gordon Hayward gets double-teamed.

"Our scouting report, we’re talking about Gordon Hayward, Gordon Hayward, Gordon Hayward," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said before the game. "To be able to take that kind of defensive focus and attention and still produce for himself and his teammates is something that’s a big adjustment."

He’s getting double-teams, triple-teams, but he’s still playing great. Gordon to me is a very, very top-of-the-line player. I think he’s just trying to prove himself to Utah that he’s worthy of having a bigger deal," said Carroll

The Suns are probably better ttan the Jazz at 4 positions. There would so much less pressure...

Wait, so we just went from thinking that Hayward being impossible to get for 2 picks, Goodwin and Green, to thinking we could get Melo or Griffin for 2 picks and Len or Goodwin to gutting our whole team to get Melo... How does that make sense? Do we really want Melo who will kill the fast breaking run-n-gun offense because he wants to get his touches on every possession and he doesn't want to run back in transition? Is he going to play defense and help get into the passing lanes to get the fast break started? Hayward just makes too much sense for our system and he fits the make a playoff push now mentality but keeps our future bright since he's 23.....
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Talk about an overpay. Right now, Dragic is playing better than Melo. He's better for our team too and comes at half the price.

The only trade I see happening for Melo is to the Bulls with Bargnani, for Deng and Boozer. But even then I don't think the Bulls are foolish enough to pull the trigger without further sweetener from the Knicks (maybe TH Jr?)

I really like this deal:
Suns get-
Blake Griffin

Knicks get-
Emeka Okafor
Archie Goodwin
Jared Dudley (gets shafted)
Suns pick, Wolves pick, Washington pick, Clippers pick (2017)

Clippers get-
Carmelo Anthony
Kenyon Martin

I'm not sure if either the Knicks or Clippers do it though, lol.
