1) Advanced stats also pegged him as a major liability on offense.
2) You're mixing things here: Refuting advanced stats with the "eye test" is one thing, but refuting advanced stats with basic stats -- especially because of one game -- is something else entirely.
The best argument against advanced stats isn't the "eye test," and it definitely isn't basic stats. It's that it's always more complicated than any one number.
