Ves stripes Bogut. Ball off Bogut but GS's ball.

There won`t be any coaching changes, or any trades. The team is going through a rough patch and we can`t handle it. It`s better the Wizards go through this reality check now.

They`ll get it back though, we can`t panic and act like the team was anywhere near perfect. Teams scout and make adjustments. Doesn`t help when no one is hitting any shots, and subsequently play sub-par defense because of it.

...and we can squash the overrating of Beal for a while. Klay Thompson is showing him how it's done.

Maybe, you can save us a lecture on how the Wizards are a good team, even without injuries.

dont cherry pick. My whole point is that they are in a funk "right now" and they shouldnt be judged strictly on that like its that black& white. Again that stretch of 5pts proves they are in a funk. yhats not a bad team or bad ball. that is an oout of rhythm funk

They're an average team, not a good team, no matter the sample size.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Wow, Randy turns to a Ves, Booker combo

I don't expect that to work out well.

Ariza has been useless when his three isn't falling. He has some night highlight steals that can fool you into thinking he's playing strong defense, but I'm starting to think his boost on offense is coming at the cost of less effort and concentration defensively.

Beals going through a funk, but the inefficient long twos are crazy terrible. I can't fault him too much as he's developed handle much faster than I thought possible for guards at this level to do, but that same effort is going to have to go into developing a slashing game in the off-season.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Beal's attitude. He's added a smugness to himself, kid has been horrible.

Sorry so many people think he is a complete bust. But I see him moving up and down the floor and he at least looks like a legit PF. Ves hasn't exactly gotten a ton of opportunities. For a #6 pick, the team has shown pretty weak commitment to him. Not saying some of that isn't on Ves and that he hasn't missed opportunities, but to me, he clearly has more upside. He is going to keep getting better. He is still only 23.

Props to him for taking advantage of his time tonight. I give him a solid B+ maybe an A.

I will say it again. I like the things Booker brings when he is on, but I see no reason to commit the starting PF slots and an undersized rebounding PF who play terrible perimeter and help D. Ves is the best defensive PF of Booker, Kevin and Ves. He is also the tallest. He was a #6 pick and he has upside.

Start Ves at this point. Booker got his shot. At least see what happens. What they are doing isn't working.

He is the one that brought the energy to stop the bleeding.

It's sad that he is the one that stopped the bleeding.

Why is that sad ?

Because Nene is getting paid 13 million a year, Ariza 8 million a year, Wall just got an 80 million dollar contract. One of them should have stopped the bleeding.

No argument from me.

There are several problems regarding this team and the lack of driving skills from the guards and power forward is one of the two big problems.

The 2nd big problem is they are missing one more front court player to can defend.

Sadly, they had Crawford who would helped by adding a guard that could dribble, score, pass, etc. As for the other post player, there were 1000 centers in the last draft.

If you are talking about how impressed he gets with himself when he makes a shot, yeah, I wish he would get over it. SGs are supposed to make shots. He is young yet. Hopefully he grows out of it.

I felt Wall started the game really strong. On both ends. Nene had a pretty decent game and I saw the energy and effort there. GS has a big talented combo up front. Nene can't beat them all game by himself. TA. He had a terrible game. I like that he came out driving twice but 0-5 from TA from 3 says he isn't getting the same open looks, he is just in a funk or some of both. TA is .427 from 3 on 6 attempts a game this year. He has played great this year. I have zero issue with TA as the starter at this point.
