is anyone else getting annoyed by the fact that it seems as though every team knows that they can steal against us without being thrown out?

Thanks for the game thread.

Oooh Alyssa Milano is in the crowd, and looking fine. That should be good luck for the Jays (even though she is supporting the other team). :D

Nice pitching duel, Mcgowan matched up Penny pretty well...

2-1 Dodgers now, let's see if we can get a run off Broxton, he's been shaky lately

EDIT: Forget Broxton, we'll hit Saito!

Another long one for him, 1-0 Jays mid 6th

woopdeedoo a solo blast, that won't hold up. It would help if they could get some singles, or a "bloop and a blast" from time to time... they got the blast... but i doubt the Jays will be able to sustain a 1-0 lead..

Do you think they'll run Accardo back out there tonight if its a save opportunity? I'd like to see Janssen pitch the 9th possibly

Yeah I would like to see Janssen too...or even Marcum complete a shootout!

I like Accardo but 2 losses in 2 days, except if it's a 3 run lead I don't see Gibbons bringing him in.

Marcum is an animal. Do you realize that Jays won last 5 games he started. He started 6. The one we did not win he threw 6 no hit innings. If he can turn out to be someone that can keep his era under 4 or better yet 3.5 then we could finally have another legit starter. McGowan is looking very good lately as well. I have not been this happy with our starting 5 in a while...our only really weak spot is #5 . Other 4 guys i kind of have faith in now.

Hitting needs to wake up though. John McDonald is third on the team in average. We don't have anybody hitting over .300 . Mat Stairs is second on the team with 9 home runs. Wells is struggling.

Every year, one part of our game is just killing us.

Yeah this is frustrating, I really hope he wakes up before the all star break
