4. Charlotte Bobcats: Ben McLemore
5. Phoenix Suns: Otto Porter
6. Philadelphia 76ers: CJ McCollum (him and Holiday would have been pretty sweet)
7. Sacramento Kings: Kentavious Cladwell-Pope
8. Detroit Pistons: Trey Burke (Michigan wanted this)
9. Minnesota T-Wolves: Anthony Bennett
10. Portland Trailblazers: Alex Len
11. Philadelphia 76ers: Steven Adams
12. Oklahoma City Thunder: Kelly Olynyk
13. Dallas Mavericks: Giannis Adetokunbo
14. Utah Jazz: Michael Carter-Williams (plus they keep their 21st pick, getting Plumlee/Dieng)
15. Milwaukee Bucks: Dennis Schroeder

Basically Cav's shifted focus, now everyone could pick someone 1-2 places higher. Since nobody took a point guard till #9, you had 3 great PG's all the way up to #11, which was just out of Jazz's reach, oh so close. The top 10 draft pickers all had PG's, so I thought Jazz were a sure thing on Burke, Carter-Williams or McCollum, I mean 4 teams and 3 PG's, but all I wanted was anyone not named Larkin/Schroder.

Had Cav's not ruin everything, Philly would have kept Holiday and would have got someone like Olynyk or Giannis, not to mention, that the top 10 didn't need PG's, so Jazz could have easily kept both their picks, and got a shot at Carter-Williams or Trey Burke! At #14 Jazz could have got Carter-Williams had things been different. We ended up paying Cash to get back a late 20's pick for a new Big, luckily we got Gobert at #27 without burning our wallets to bad. His price/performance is greater than you would expect, a 21 year old Euro player, with a 7'8" wing span and a 9'7" standing reach!

After Thoughts:
To be quite honest, no way I give up a #14 and #21, for a #11 pick, even if it was Carter-Williams. Jazz basically got screwed in finding a new PG to run the team, and the only reason we went after Trey Burke was becaues he was the most decorated PG in the draft, and was only one worth our 2 picks, no way we would do this for anyone else, no one else was player of the year and won multiple awards, and not many others were in NCAA Championship Game. I know it is only 2 away from #11 aka MCW, who everyone is in love with and he did go to Final Four and is was an amazing PG in college, and even before the draft basically everyone in Utah thought that MCW was our last hope to not get Larkin/Schroder.....BUT even if we wanted to trade our 2 picks, people don't realize this:

Had things happened like they did, Philly would have never given up Carter-Williams, not even for Jazz's #14 and #21, because they were not going to send off Holiday for Noel, and then leave Larkin/Schroder in charge! T-Wolves didn't want a PG they have Rubio and Barea, but the top 3 picks left when their turn came was all PG's, so they basically downgraded to upgrade, rather than sit on Burke.

As a Jazz fan, I am 100% behind Burke, and wanted him so bad all last year and got him, truely blessed to get the guy you watched all year in college! But I was sure Carter-Williams was best we would do and was sure no one was going to give up Trey Burke! I would have enjoyed Carter-Williams because it wouldn't be Larkin/Schroder, but even if I would have got him, I would still would have wanted Trey Burke.

I know you hate MCW bro but 13th? Really?

Right now he's the best rookie so far and he's going later than he was actually drafted... I don't even.

Still way to early to make definitive long term judgements, especially with all the injuries, but some of the kids are starting to show what they can contribute.

Pretty sure Shabazz should be TBD, since he's barely even played all season.

Hardaway is definitely 1st team over McLemore IMO
