Curt Schilling misses no-hitter by 1 out!

Post#1 » by GQStylin » Thu Jun 7, 2007 9:49 pm

Just saw Curt Schilling miss a no-hitter by one batter! Would have been kinda nice if that old man had done it.

Edited for spelling, so people would stop making easy jokes. I'm a killjoy like that.

If you like twisted logic - if Julio Lugo hadn't committed an error on an easy play earlier in the game, Stewart never gets to bat again and Curt has himself a perfect game ;)

I was praying they'd get a hit on him. The last thing sports fans need is another reason for ESPN to talk about the Red Sox/Yankees.

Oh, and you misspelled Curt. I thought I'd point it out since it seems to have gone unnoticed.

Man, with all the coverage and interviews that happened, you would have thought Schilling threw the no-hitter... SportsCenter and BBTN have become pathetically biased to the East Coast... There was barely this much attention when Buhrele ACTUALLY did it.
