They produce really good midfielders and this kid is said to be legit. He's only 18 and I hope he grows to be a player. Prior to this generation, Colombia is known for having young stars fail.

I wish England didn't have such strict immigration rules. I would love more Colombian young talent in the EPL

South Americans traditionally are abundant in Italy. And I hope you're saying that only because you'd get more TV coverage of them, seeing as less than 10 (idk exact number) EPL players have won the World Cup since England themselves won it

edit: research informed me of only Torres, Fabregas, Reina, Vieira, Petit, Lebœuf...idk if any others exist

Lol yeah more coverage and my favorite league. You are right though, Italy seems to be dooing a great job developing our guys so I may have to reconsider my previous statement lol.

Di Natale announces he will retire after this season. We will get to see what Muriel is made of now that he will be the team's top striker.

Serie A top scorer twice, he truly seemed to get better with age. Would have loved to see him on a big club, but strangely he never did make an impact for the national team, so maybe it was for the better...although he's one of the few Italian strikers i'd bet would do well in EPL. Bravo Toto, you will be missed

Muriel has been injured since Nov. and Udinese really need him to come back...3-1 loss to Verona today. Other than Luca Toni the legend, Iturbe (age 20 owned by Porto) and Jorginho(22) have been huge for Verona. tremendous potential

He was very loyal to Udinese and a great teammate. Muriel says the guy was a huge influence on him and a great mentor. I'm also baffled that he didn't do well in the NT. He will be missed. His departure will make or break Muriel. Let's see what happens when he returns and is finally healthy.

So has Juve already locked up Berardi?

Kid has a pretty amazing goals/assists per game ratio for a 19 y/o.

Huge fan of Di Natale. Don't really get to watch him too much but I'll miss him on FIFA.

ya he's been amazing. He's only loaned to Sassuolo so he'll be back at Juve end of season but it remains uncertain whether he'll get loaned out again. I want them to give him a chance and offload Quags Vucinic or Giovinco

Apparently Juve are looking to loan out or sell Quaqrialella to Fiore in lieu of the Rossi injury. They want either 8 million or use the player as a possible deal for Cuadrado. Juve is like Bayern, they really want to have the best talent in Italy.

I think Fiore will just loan him for now though.

Quagliarella deserves some more playing time, would be a good move for him and Fiorentina.
Fiorentina so unlucky with the Gomez/Rossi injuries..they could have been the best strike duo in the league. Now of course it is Tevez/Llorente

Yeah I think a loan is the best move for all parties involved. Fiore has such bad luck, but hopefully they get this loan and maintain their good form.

the Petkovic-Lazio saga is quite interesting. I don't know what the deal is but i've never really seen anything like that. Seems like Petkovic tried to pull a fast one on them though.

Fiorentina now rumored to be trying to bring Alejandro "Papu" Gomez back to the Serie A. This guy was a star in the league when Catania were relevant and I'd love to see him back. He's a quick little dude with amazing dribbling/finishing skills. Idk how he ended up going to Metalist Kharkiv.

Milan rumored to be close to Essien
other than that, no high profile transfers are likely in relation to Serie A unless Guarin in fact goes somewhere. With that said, Inter are idiots :)
