No Gasol for them. We're even.

Koufos and Davis have been doing a good job filling in for him though.

True. Hopefully the combination of Diaw, Baynes, Bonner and Ayres can make up for Splitter for the next 3-5 weeks.

I assume this will be Courtney Lee's first game for Memphis?

Possibly.

I really hope Pop's unleashes Baynes.

Good first half. Duncan and Marco are dominating and the interior D has been solid without Tiago.

Also James Johnson might be the best perimeter shot blocker i've ever seen.

Ginobilli was definitely grabbing at his hamstring at the end. Not good.
Baynes gets a DNP with Splitter out. WTF?
Diaw is still playing like a stud.

What the heck is up with all the empty seats in Memphis? I know they have a losing record and are missing Gasol but damn, that place was empty.

GINOBILI!!!!!!

Didn't expect this one to go to OT, we should've finished them in the 4th when we had the chance.

I like the lineup of TP-Gino-Beli-Kawhi-TD that we closed the half with. Especially with Splitter out, that might be our best lineup on both ends.

The officiating was bad all round in this one. Some shocking calls and no-calls.

No Baynes?! Why Pop?

I like some of the players the Grizz have picked up in the past couple years. James Johnson really impressed me. I hope he's found a home with Memphis, he's a talented player. Lee looked pretty good as well, and seemed to fit in straight away. It definitely didn't look like his first game with them. Maybe he can reinvent himself with these guys. I remember after a strong Finals in 09 as a rookie, he was expected to do some things in the league. It hasn't really panned out.

They've done an unreal job filling out their bench. Johnson has been awesome like you said, Jon Leuer is playing amazing right now, Ed Davis is improving and Nick Calathes has been slowly getting better all year.

It was the bench that basically kept them in this game. They bring great energy and hustle.

Defense was extremely awful in the end of 4th quarter though. If we lost that game, I would've blame it on Marco.
