How the hell does Jabari Parker have 113 votes...PARTICULARLY, after his two recent extremely unimpressive games?

Seriously. Is this poll rigged?

Maybe because people are basing their votes on more than the last 2 games, they're basing it on his body of work so far. We get it, you're obsessed with Embiid, the majority likes Wiggins & Parker more.

Two games. Go back and read this boards reaction after Marcus smart's first game against Memphis when he had 39 points, it will give you some perspective on these things.

I know. I know. It's just, well, I've been a Parker doubter for awhile now...I gotta take the fuel when I get it and feed the flames of Lord Embiid.

You could basically find an underachieving, lesser prospect to compare to any player but because you don't like Wiggins you decide to single him out.

I've tried staying out of this shti the past couple weeks but you two are unbelievable.

Is that a Juco team Kansas is playing against? He's being guarded by an offensive tackle. That **** would get swatted into the front row by any big that's average on defense.

In all seriousness, here's the ridiculousness of you Parker lovers...New Mexico is 10-3 . They recently beat Marquette. They are not a pushover. Just because yet another team can't guard Embiid 1 vs. 1, you want to point to this as a means of detracting what was a fantastic move for any college player. The moment Jabari is guarded by any length or, god forbid, length with athleticism (eeeek) he's essentially a pedestrian player. Just because there isn't a college player who can guard Lord Embiid, don't hold it against him when a pudgy white boy falls prey to his deadly shimy shake.

EDIT: Ok. Ok. Marquette isn't exactly the homecoming queen. I get it! I get it!

Pretty amazing a guy who can't shoot, pass or dribble is scoring a super efficient 16 points a game.

A TS% of .561 in college is far from super efficient. That is especially true when you consider how much of his offense comes on the break or from open spot up jumpers.

On his own team, Embiid has a TS% of .672. Perry Ellis, .612.

Just wondering if most of the rest of this draft thread is going to be people saying stupid **** about everybody who isn't their favorite.

There's only one way to find out. Only one way.

I know you love Parker. If we draft him, I'll hope he shines. I'll just leave it at that.

EDIT: I thought it was obvious, with my 'Lord Embiid' usages and all, I was saying everything tongue and cheek - /green font...does that help. Obviously, I love Embiid. But, it's not like I think Parker is a bad prospect. Come on, now. Come on nah!!!

Embiid might be in the same tier as Wiggins/Parker for me soon but I don't have him there yet.

1. Wiggins
2. Parker
3. Embiid
4. Exum
5. Randle

That's where my top 5 is sitting right now.

Wiggins still has plenty of variety in his offense and only lacks aggression at this point.

Weird. I see an awful lot of jumpers getting splashed in that video.

I haven't talked "mad ****" about Wiggins. Pointing out what are becoming obvious flaws to plenty of other people isn't talking ****. I still think he's an excellent prospect (I definitely don't agree with the Harkless comparison).

And I definitely would overpay Leonard a bit and give him a max contract if that could get him away from the Spurs. He's the most obvious candidate to break out when given a bigger role in the entire NBA. Considering how much guys like Batum, Deng, and Iggy get paid at the SF spot, paying a couple extra million a year to get Leonard isn't a problem at all in my eyes. It is the price of getting a guy like that away from a franchise like the Spurs.

Stealing a young guy like him away from a top franchise would be one of the best ways we could use our money instead of lighting it on fire with middling vets.

I'd be really, really surprised if Leonard doesn't became a multiple All-Star level player.

It's not oversimplification at all. What it is, is comparing two guys with very similar playing styles. You've got a hard on for Wiggins. I get it. How can you possibly watch that video and not see a ton of similarities? It's not talking **** to point out his flaws. Three weeks ago you were claiming he had an "unstoppable spin move" and a "solid jumper" and now that those arguments are gone, you're left with very little to make any type of argument other than "athleticism" and "potential." I have no reason to hate Wiggins, we're in line for the most lotto balls come May. I would LOVE for Wiggins to prove me wrong and become some world beater, but the reality of the situation is that he's just not that great of a player with few skills that will translate to the next level without a significant amount of work put in. I mean, good lord, the guy shoots 31% from three and about 30% on all jumpers this season. I shudder to think what those percentages drop to when you push him back four more feet and he's guarded by stronger more athletic players.

As far as Kawhi Leonard. Gross.

Love me some Leonard. The kid's waiting to pull off those Spur-spangled diapers and come to Milwaukee. We'll put Giannis in one corner. Leonard in the other...and Knight can drive straight down the middle of the lane like a hot knife through butter and sprinkle passes left and right into the lower deck.

Seriously, though. I'd give my right nut to pair Leonard with Giannis and Larry. I think he's the Cat's Pajamas. And, he's stuck in that 25 mpg rotation with 50 other Spurs. :D

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
