In the last 3 losses 2 teams have shot 40% from the field and Golden state shot 44. That's right in line with what we have been doing all year. We have been forcing just as many turnovers, blocking just as many shots and holding teams the same percentage.
The things that have changed since Horford went down are freethrow attempts, OUR shooting percentage, and the amount of shots we take in the paint.
I understand you think getting outrebounded by FOUR is a big deal, but seeing as almost all of the offensive rebounds were grabbed by guards on long rebounds last night, I'm not really sure how adding a bottom of the trash heap big will change that.
I don't know that being outrebounded by four is a big deal, but giving up 15 offensive rebounds to a team that also lost
THEIR All Star center is atrocious. Factor in that the game prior we gave up 20 offensive rebounds. Those are the two worst numbers of the season for us. The game prior we gave up 13 offensive rebounds. In the last 3 games we're giving up nearly twice as many OREBs as previous. (16 per game vs 9 per game) We've also been dominated on the boards by the likes of Vucevic and AL Jefferson since Horford went down.
It is a lingering concern. Cartier Martin was waived this week. I think there's a more than likely chance Ferry uses that roster spot on another big man, since the lot we have are pretty underwhelming.

No matter what's going on, San Anton is penetrating. Weather it's Ginobili or Parker they have guards that penetrate...Teague has been working on his penetration but we need that second guy who can just take it to the hole off the dribble. Right now, we are at risk of becoming a team of jumpshooters.
Agree on the need for wings who can penetrate, does Lou Will not adequately fit that need?
Do we think Evan Turner can do that for us as a secondary ballhandler?

I suspect that would cost us Bebe, also. I suspect most Hawks fans would be okay with that...
