Thornton and freddette for randolph and miller. 7 million going out 9 million coming in, jimmer is a ufa after this year I believe. not a bad deal. limits fournier's playing time would be the only downside.

not that i like shaw playing fournier at the 3, but hes still going to keep doing it so denver might as well snatch up thornton. improves scoring at the 2 and hopefully lands foye on the bench where he should be.

I'd happily take Jimmer and the 2nd. Thornton and Thompson are definitely the better players but they both have unfriendly contracts and neither would crack the rotation. Jimmer is an expiring contract and he's not going to complain about sitting on the bench. That should be the only criteria that needs to be met in an Andre Miller trade.

thornton is paid a ton and just as bad as Foye on defense, to top it off he likes to have the ball in his hands, not to big of a problem with just Lawson, but when Gallinari gets back that could be a problem.

If I were Connelly I would try to pry McLemore from them in exchange for Dre/Fournier/Hamilton

Ben McLemore
Travis Outlaw

for

Dre
Fournier
Hamilton

This would clear up some clutter and make McLemore the obvious future SG to build around/develop. D'Alessandro might be the only other executive outside of Connelly/Kroenke who knows the value and potential of Fournier/Hamilton.

I don't like any of the other packages because we already have a Marcus Thornton (Foye) Jimmer Fredette (Fournier) and Jason Thompson (Hickson) type players.

I would do something like Miller and Foye for Jimmer, Outlaw and their second. Everyone knows I'm not a fan of Foye, but this allows Fournier to start and brings Hamilton back into the rotation and perhaps a chance for Jimmer to get some minutes or be the third PG at least.

Personally I would rather not trade Faried, right now he is one of the few difference makers this team has, his ability to catch in traffic, get under opposition skin, and rebound is huge for the team when he is on, and with him developing a couple of post moves and a jump shot albeit slowly he is becoming a solid player. Especially if he is now going all out on defense such as he did in the last game or two.

Why not? if he is offering the best deal out there than why not take the deal? I do not hold anything Pete, there is nothing to say he was even going to be offered the GM job in Denver, especially if he is going to overpay to get Miller and his leadership as opposed to his numbers. Andre is done in Denver, he is not coming back, if the best deal they can get is a young combo guard and a 2nd round pick, than they might as well do it.

They said during the game that Dre has been working out at Pepsi but won't be returning to the team.

With reports that Denver might wait until the deadline to trade him, I don't know whether that's a good idea or not.

None of the guys the Kings are offering are worth a damn and I wouldn't want any of them getting minutes. However, if that's all we can get I just want Dre gone more than anything. I've been dreaming of trading him since 20 games into his first year, make it happen!

One possible obstacle to the trade of Denver Nuggets guard Andre Miller to the Kings that seemed somewhat likely a few days ago? Travis Outlaw. The Sacramento forward is owed $3 million this season and another $3 million next, and the Kings' insistence that he be included in a possible deal with the Nuggets is one of the many reasons it hasn't happened (and may not).

The Nuggets were sending a strong message this week in Reno that Miller would be moved in a matter of days after his spat with coach Brian Shaw and subsequent excusing from the team, but he remains and, according to The Denver Post, could even return to the lineup sometime soon after missing four games. It's a safe bet he's not the only unhappy player here, though: the Kings' Jimmer Fredette will be a free agent this summer and is hoping to find momentum in a new uniform before that time arrives.

The former BYU star deserves immense credit for his professionalism in these last few frustrating years, and that's the very reason you won't likely hear him complain publicly (or even privately) about his lot in Kings Land. But with Sacramento hoping to get at least a second-round draft pick in return for him in any possible deal, count me among the masses who hope he's on the move sooner rather than later and that he finds a better fit elsewhere.

I would take Fredette, Outlaw, and a couple of 2nds if they take Miller and Randolph.

I think Fredette, Outlaw and a 2nd should do the trick. Nuggets cut 1m guaranteed salary next year and pick up Outlaw, who is a slightly more useful player than AR. I hope Shaw wouldn't play him instead of Q. That would be bad.
