Beal? At the FT line? Hopefully he remembers where to stand.

This quarter ruined our defensive numbers.

Holding our own on the road is the one truly positive takeaway from the season so far. Now if only we could take care of business at home, we could actually get up over .500.

Haven't been on board much due to life.

Yes, I did ssy Vesely can play. Did say Gortat's great for Jan. Ssid when Gortat was acquired start them together....around when I said the Wizards should have kept Kendall Marshall.

It is not fun getting challenged by many and not having hardly any stop hating on me. Human nature says dislike those whose opinion differs or who disagree....

I pray for my own holiness that I no longer be arrogant, manic, verbose, disagreeable, hyper critical, hypersensitive, mean-spirited, condescending. Egotistical, egocentric, eccentric, argumentative .....

Forrest Gump just kept running. In this case I choose to emulate Bubba Gump, and say "That's about it!"

Oh yeah. I was right. Of course, this was about me more than the Wizards 55th straight road win. J/k

Good stuff. Nice win.

Man, if Ves would have only hit his FTs that would be a real nice line from him. And until he does, I will always see that blemish.

Come on Ves. Its a FT. I know you are practicing. What gives. Shot them Berry style if you have to.

So I missed most the game. Did they ever feed Ves in the post short of the alley opp I saw from Temple ?

Besides that, this is what I was talking about. Ves is good for Gortat to help him protect the rim. Ves also plays good D. And he can score if the team looks to get him the kind of baskets he can make. Alley opps being one kind. He has a legit NBA body now. He is coordinated. Has good energy, and he has some court smarts.

I think Ves is showing he can make it in this league. It was always going to take time. But he put in the work this summer. He hired his coach to stay with him throughout the season. That shows dedication and maturity. And he out in lots of work with Gortat. I think Ves can make it in the NBA.

Can you guys just enjoy a win without worrying who's right and who's wrong? How about who cares? This is a message board. We're all fans with opinions and nobody is right 100% of the time.

Posted this on another forum about the schedule:

The first 9 games of January looks like one of the toughest clusters of games on the schedule. Tough first week going 0-3 on that home stand but it was three losses to superior teams. Then the cluster of four games in five days that ends with a back to back of @Indy on Friday and home vs Houston Saturday is brutal. Then we travel to Chicago on Monday and get Miami at home on Wednesday.

No rest for the weary. We need to beat Chicago because we're probably going to lose to Indy, Houston, and Miami.

Then we're three games under .500 again.

After that, we've got a four games home stand against Chicago, Detroit, Philly, and Boston that we absolutely MUST take advantage of. Hopefully we can get back to around .500 following that.

Because the last four games of the month are looking like another 1-3 stretch. If we beat all the teams who are worse than us and lose to the teams who are better, we'll probably finish the month one game under .500.

Yeah, you couldn't tell from the boxscore. That's why stats and numbers are so misleading. He's been very erratic. So has Beal outside of that second quarter. Ariza has saved them and Gortat has played two solid back-to-back games finally.

Gortat's defense has been really good the last 2 games. I can live with subpar shooting nights from him as long as he's protecting the rim and rebounding at a high rate
