Lots can happen by the February trade deadline...just not sure where he would fit in with another team.

Every single front office action by thr Knicks is somehow leaked to the media. How on earth can this be the case? What a joke of an organisation. So glad my Magic have a classy front office and dont leak any rumors.

To be fair, the Magic don't have any rumors to leak. Back when they had Dwight they stayed leaking rumors.

All with suspect ownership, save Boston which I hate to say is the most savvy sports town. The Celts may be even be poised to pull of a quick turnaround a'la the Sawks given their heady moves and complete shakedown of the Nets. Especially if they keep Rondo. Anyway, it looks like the new CBA's doing its job. This is the new NBA where being a big market team isn't enough. Hopefully they'll wise up and start making more sound basketball decisions so they can stop breaking their delusional fan's hearts.

Hey man take it easy with my boys... Heat Spurs Lakers are the only teams that can talk sht over the last 10 years... Where the Celtics at now? Mavs? Warriors not going anywhere, clippers not going anywhere Pacers not getting past LeBron... so what's your point?

All those teams you mentioned are better then the Knicks. You do know that right?

yeah but how much better? Is winning 47 games and losing in the first round make it better? Noone is taking down the heat just face reality

If the Nets get a 5.2m exception for brook Lopezs injury why can't the knicks get a 5.2m mental disability for JR?

Who else is going to steal my avatar and this joke

Agreed. 18m for 3 years for JR is a one-track road to trouble. If he was signed for 10m for 2 or 14m for 3 with third year non-guaranteed, then his contract would be an asset. Just ask the Cavs.

You should probably change your avatar. There's a guy on here with that avatar saying Seth curry is as good as Stephen curry, he's coming up with these ridiculous trades that make sense for no one. He thinks Felton is the best PG in the league.

Knicks trade: Jr Smith 5.5 million

Pacers trade: Paul George + Lance Stephenson + Donald Sloan = 5.1 million + Knicks get cash

Knicks trade: Shumpert + Felton

Toronto trade: Lowry

Starting line up:

PG Lowry
SG Stephenson
SF George
PF Melo
C Chandler

Almost there. Throw in a TOR first rounder and you've got a deal.

You guys are insanely delusional... Constantly proposing trades w scrubs for prime players. That trade for Lowry doesn't happen without you giving us shump, hardaway, and a first. That's the truth.

If that's what it takes, we don't want Kyle.

It's funny. People call NY delusional and yet constantly comment on things that have to do with NY. Do we own your minds?

Raps fans need to be paying attention to their own team. Last time I checked you lead the Atlantic. Be happy with that and move on. Don't get angry cause we called bull with whatever you were trying to sell us with Kyle. Get over the fact that we don't want to trade with you.

We brought in Stoudemire, then Anthony demanded a trade here, Jason Kidd took less money to come here, Chandler as well, JR Smith signed for waaay bellow market value... the list goes on. The reality is NYC is the biggest city in the world and players LOVE it here. MSG is called the MECCA for a reason (hence my name). Sure we're having a bad season, but I can guarantee you when we've cleared cap space for 2015, you will see a monster big 3 so big, everyone will forget about the Heat.

As for those claiming the Raptors are somehow in better shape than the Knicks.... :noway:

Also I'm not going to propose a JR Smith trade cause this is garbage. Despite his antics, JR is a former 6th man of the year and one of the most unappreciated players in the league, and he's only making the NBA average salary. He's staying, like it or not.

Keep dreaming Knick's fan's you guys haven't hit reality yet.

No one in NY is stupid. We all hate our FO. It's been that way for over a decade. Take a trip to our board and see what we actually talk about when it comes to that team. We hate JR. We'll trade him for a bag of socks.

Where the Celtics at now? You can't be serious. I'll tell you where they're at. Steppin' in your Knicks' ass on YOUR "mecca" court by 40 something with a "tanking" team and rookie coach. C'mon son, I'm a Laker head from NY. I've been shaming your squad for a long time. This is light work. Knicks fans overvalue these player's desire to play in NY. Sure they like to come to NY and put up career numbers on your squad under the bright lights and watch yall blow big games but don't nobody wanna come play for this dysfunctional franchise. History of bad ownership, bad management and fans with maddeningly delusional expectations. My only hope is that Melo stays his bum ass on your team and doesn't come out here to LA. Y'all deserve each other.

you mean how Denver just stomped the Lakers out?
Look, every team has bad games.
This team is a first round exit.
Actual fans of the Knicks that know what they are talking about knew this during the pre-season.

As a Laker fan you should know better. A lot of your fanbase is the exact same as ours. They don't know ****. Same with all major markets. Too many casual fans that talk to here themselves speak.

I am not a Knicks fans and I believe the Knicks will continue to be irrelevant for this season and next. Whether they will become contenders again afterwards largely depends on what they do with the cap space created when Amare's contract expires. Use wisely and the team can be good. Waste it and the team will continue to be bad.

To be fair, both Kidd and Chandler are true stars. Chandler is a great defensive center. Unfortunately, he has not been healthy first half of this season. Kidd is a Hall of Famer for the reason he is able to make everyone on his team better. When Kidd, Chandler and Melo are healthy and on the floor together last year, they managed a great season. Now that Kidd has retired and Chandler is gimpy, obviously the Knicks is anything but good. The Knicks management really ought to do a much better job if they want to have a good team in their house.

Kidd on the nets was a star, last year he was far from a star, he was a decent role player. Chandler is decent, still not a star.

As sad as this sounds, Kidd was our glue. He made us trust in one another. Ball movement was elite, Felton was able to be a SG and so on. Kidd was the key. Now why our FO did nothing to replace our floor general and instead went and traded for Bargy, is beyond me.
