Carmelo was a damn good Player in Denver. He's still one of the best scorers in the league. If Parker is a better version of Melo, I'd easily take him #1. We need an alpha Scorer on this team to play next to Giannis and Larry if he stays.

I'm pretty close to moving Parker to #1. I think the top 3 are pretty close, with Wiggins and Embiid being the other two. I agree Wiggins has looked bad lately.

JR Smith is a joke, there's really no reason to compare Giannis and Thanasis (older of the two) to that situation. If anything they'd probably function more akin to the Morris brothers.

If Thanasis couldn't cut it talent-wise, then Giannis would probably be a pro about it. But that also seems unlikely. Green font?

If the Bucks thought he was a legit prospect then sure, take him. They have a nice history of developing youth.

But if he isn't, or if he's a fringy Tiny Gallon prospect then isn't worth putting the team in the position of having to cut him.

How good do you think Melo is? Because a lot of advanced metrics would disagree and disagree wholeheartedly with the notion he's even top-30.

What xRAPM says really means little to me in this case (honestly means pretty little to me in any case), Melo is an extremely good player. xRAPM, PER, WS etc honestly mean very little to me. I'd really like to see LaVine made more of a vocal point of the offense. You can see the explosive energy in his movements. Clearly confident in his shot too, as he has the hair trigger on some of these that have ended up pretty off.

I think Ford's got him too high on his board. Borderline 1st rounder at this point.

Not sure sure if it's relevant, but Barnes and where Wiggins stats are now are almost identical their freshman years. Barnes got hot the end of his freshman year to lift his stats to the levels Wiggins is currently at. I think Wiggins should go #1, but Embid reminds me of Akeem and Hakeem, which has to get one excited.
