Mason

Enough of the Mason hate.

He's fit in well here and is important cover for our G position.

He certainly shouldn't be the one cut if we find a big to sign.

When given an opportunity, he helps more than he hurts..I like the signing and the guy. sometimes we forget, most of these type of guys make financial sacrifices to play here, and we seldom give them the courtesy to fit into our complex system

I think you have your prioritys all wrong. Hate is a strong word but are you saying us to praise a dude that air balls from 3 point range all alone? Just face it , till this point mason did 0 for our team. I really hope it changes but i had the chance to cut him out for a better player why wouldnt we take that?

I really think that sometimes they want these players to do what the players on NBA2K(whatever year) does or play to meet their fantasy teams...When I hear them complain constantly about lbj/wade and other proven vets, it's amazing..

They want all stars at every position
Eric to coach the All star game with OUR big 3 as starters
top seed in the NBA not just the EAST
    HCA in the finals
LBJ to get his 5th MVP
Our team to win by double digits in each game
Every available FA that comes available

And they will still complain each possession about the refs

 He's done well in most of the games he's entered, he's a very good influence on the practice court and in the locker room. I'm not sure what you expect from a backup vet playing for the minimum.

btw - even Ray allen has air balled a wide open 3 this season.

If a guy is hitting 35% of his 3's then the odd airball is no big problem.

Why are people getting upset about dudes at the end of our bench? If Mason ever had to determine the fate of a game in the playoffs, we were screwed anyway. I personally don't care if he's cut or not.

hes not at the end, he plays and is expected to play. Dudes at the end are currently Joel and JJ

He's played 18 total games, with 11min per game, with most of those minutes probably being during end-of-game scrub time. Come playoff time, it's doubtful he'll see minutes with Ray, Wade, Cole, and Chalmers playing guard. That's close enough to the end of the bench that I don't care if he's cut or not for another prospect. If he plays, cool hopefully he doesn't screw something up. If he doesn't play, cool, I'm sure someone will be happy to take his handful of minutes and also not screw things up.

He's not a PG.

Been using him a bit more since Rio went down and he's playing out of position at PG. When he's catching and shooting, he's great. When he's asked to do more than that, it's rather scary. His D is good against some other guards too. But if we decide to go after Bynum, he and JJ make the most sense to cut.

But it probably won't happen. After we lose tonight though, you're going to hear an uproar about him lmao, get ready

And you are the guy who thinks that if WE want we can sign Bynum to a 10 day tryout contract.

what you're missing is people are calling him out because they believe its a pointless signing...thats all. He's a guard which we need but we don't see the point, cant defend, doesn't really score...if he was more productive he would play more bt he's not productive and he's playing a position that is DEEEEP in the league. We could have went to the dleague and found some young, quick guard that can shoot.

I don't get why we need old ass dudes at every position, i get center but damn we want vet guards too? smh

They are all my boys.

I guess you're just a lebronfan and he lost too.

Point is he got on the court as opposed to several players - I'd have thought you could see that means he is less cuttable than others.

Some of you all don't understand how difficult it is to play erratic minutes and be asked to make a living from behind the three point solely. Especially when most of the time he enters the game he's been sitting for more than thirty minutes of real time. He'll help us way more than he'll hurt us moving forward.

I don't mind mason at all but he is not a need, prob should've kept ennis for the last spot because I doubt mason is here for next season, where we could have been grooming ennis to our defensive rotations with the minutes mason is getting.

But there was no way we were going to do that before season, seeing as we were saving the last roster spot for possible moves.

The dude sucks period. And the fact that he shoots the ball every time he touches it is hilarious. This guys nickname tonight should be Roger Melo Jr.

You wanna keep him around? For what? He's not a pg he's a guy that chucks at a low %.

Sorry to tell you, if a big is coming, he gone. Although I rather them cut Lewis, but spo loves him. So it's Mason.

He sucks and isn't a need.

No, he can't play PG.
